Old Peculier is a friend of the Yogscast. So, basically, the most you can do is go on one of their public servers and hope he gets on

Truly, this server needs to be better. You lay down the rules, yet dont enforce them very well. One of the mods said "Dont kill each other." Yet everyone is killing everyone and all the guards are doing is killing whoever they see. I get killed, the person isn't touched, yet when I try to get revenge I'm killed instantly.
To the dude shamelessly advertising the other server: That one isn't much better.

I leave this Forum for a month or two, and come back to find the story I was reading is no where to be found and the original is being turned into this.

You guys do realize distributing a minecraft.jar gives people the ability to play the game without buying it. Which is considered stealing/piracy

Notch would NEVER disable mods. He even supports adding them to your game!

See, now I have done almost all the achievements without resorting to using a mod. Now I can just wait for it to update so I can continue working on my challenge map.
Darn Minecart achievement.... I may have to use this when it's updated for it.

Do you have modloader installed? I reccomend installing a fresh new minecraft again(delete the BIN folder, nothing else, and restart minecraft. Also check if you delted META-INF

No Modloader, just Singeplayer Commands and TooManyItems.
They drop just fine, the only problem is trying to change what it spawns.
And yea, I deleted the Meta-INF
I'll try your suggestion
