You could call it "Anchor" and basically it goes on a sword, a bow, crossbow, or mining tool. Having "Anchor" on your bow would allow me to snipe a skeleton from like 50 ft but have all of the xp generated fly into my character still bc of the enchantment (: i think this would be really cool even if its just a bow enchantment
I think it's an interesting idea but it needs some reworking.
For example why would you want "Anchor" on a sword when you can just pick up the XP in front of you. Maybe you could make it so that only long range weapons could utilize this enchantment?
Except then it could vandalize other biomes.
No biome is naturally covered by dirt, only by grass, and both mycelium and grass infest only unclaimed dirt, not already taken over ones.
Their nether counterparts spread only through use of biome meal.
True.
However, I envisioned it to not have the ability to spread when it was naturally generated. It would only do this if you (the player) placed the mist onto a grass block and converted it to a "spooky grass block".
Again,
Implementing the idea in this way would make it so that the mist does not encroach on or destroy other biomes grass/ territory when naturally generated - only when you as the player placed the mist down.
The advantages to my idea would be simple:
1.You can take the mist away from the block. This would give us the choice to keep particles on the block or not. (Depending on if the block is a new grass variant this would also give us a new grass block - minus the particles.)
2. It gives another use to glass bottles that kinda makes sense. If you wanted to a step further you could even call the mist "soul mist" or whatever and it could be used for potions but that's another topic for another day.
I do really like the idea of bonemealing it but in this case it doesn't make sense unless we go back to the original version of the idea which links the mist to a block.
But to be honest I'd like to hear your thoughts on this. I've seen your comments on some other posts and it seems like your pretty hard against change. Not to be rude, but what would make this idea work for you? Apologies if this comes off rude or hostile, mean, etc. I'm just genuinely curious as to what qualifies as a good idea in other people's eyes.
It would basically make cakes and cookies useless.
Nobody would put effort in using wheat, finding cocoa and gathering milk, sugar and eggs to get a food type that is way worse than rotten flesh, poisoned potatoes or spider eyes.
I would suggest reading the next couple of sentences...
What if you could purify the grass (turn it from spooky grass to a regular glass block) by putting the mist in bottles and then when you put the mist on a grass block it turns it into the spooky grass block. Then the spooky grass could act as mycelium does - spreading to other grass blocks in the area. This makes it farmable which in turn makes it a viable resource for say, I don't know building and stuff. It would be even cooler if it had another effect rather than just being mist alone but as it is I like the idea.
Actually now that I think about that is true. I know you can buy glass from villagers for sure. I'd have to look into glass panes though. How would your glass cutter work just out of curiosity. Is it a tool?
As a car salesman, I disagree. What you have is the new Tango Tek model. Efficient and simple yes, but where's the fun in that? What you NEED is the incredibly complex Nexus by EthosLab. This baby has been through it all; Bug fixes, patch notes, redesigns. And that's not all! What... actually no that's it.
Aside from the jokes, I watched your video and I assume what you are looking for here on the forum more than anything is an audience. So, let me leave you with a few words of advice.
You're doing way too many jumpcuts. Keep it smooth and concise. Say what you need to say and then move on. This leads to longer viewer engagement. Yes jump cuts are a good remedy for increasing watchtime but the key is to string your video together. Let your thoughts flow onto the canvas sort of deal. For a good idea on how to do this check out the previously mentioned EthosLab.
Thumbnail is a bit cluttered but to be honest with you thumbnails won't matter as long as you have good content. (This is relatively false but to be fair thumbnails don't matter if the content is bad to begin with. It's sort of like a Catch-22.
Anyways, don't let me come in here and tell you how to run your channel lol. I think for now you are doing fine and I wish you luck!
Stone is renewable as well as glass (cobblestone farms, villager trades). It's not that it costs too much, it would just save time IMO. Think of it as a quality of life change. Not necessary, but it would be nice.
Yeah let's add diabetes as well. Example: 1/3 chance of getting it after eating cake, cookie, etc.
No, but seriously this seems like you took the game a step too far into realism. Not that I don't like it but you have to remember this is "a kid's game".
Maybe implement these features into a very hard mode like Agtrigormortis is suggesting.

No worries, with my autism jokes fly right over my head. Also, to be fair it wasn't all that funny haha.

Nope you got me! Haha, sorry I had finals today and I was just really interested in what it was about. Apologies!

Oh, sorry I thought you meant that the glass cutter was like the stone cutter. One more question then, would it be able to insta-mine glass?

It would be nice if we had the ability to dye a Sea Lantern to a different color.
