- Experience in modded Minecraft [this information will not be leading in making our decision] - I have been playing modded Minecraft for an extremely long time and am excited to try out some newer mods that I may not have used so far!
Reason for joining: I would like to join because I really like the diplomacy aspect and really enjoy all the effort put in to give the kingdoms things to do. I really hope the community is awesome, but I do know servers like this usually attract the type of people that I enjoy so I am excited!
Server experience: I have been playing Minecraft since late 2010 and have had my fair share of server experience. I also have been a part of many light RP servers like Project No Signal, Winds of Winter, and some others. I also owned a light RP server named Winds of Winter's Past for a short while. I really enjoy this idea and think this is a very unique server idea.
Questions/ Comments: Thank you for reading my application. I also have a few friends that would like to be a part of my kingdom if I am able to have one. Would they be able to join as well? Or is this just for kingdom apps?
What you like to do in Minecraft: I really like gathering resources, it is very relaxing. I also want to try my hands out at redstone machinery, I am alright at it, but i really want to get better at it and I think that will be my focus if I am accepted.
A few sentences about why we should allow you on the server: My name is Zac, I am an accounting and finance major in college and I love playing video games. Minecraft has been one of those games that I started to play and just could never stop. I've had a few breaks from the game, but I always find my self coming back for some reason. I love community based servers and meeting new people. Thank you for your consideration and I hope to be able to meet the server!
Hi everyone! So I saw a couple of people posting about their first day but I just wanted to post about my overall experience from the past couple of days.
Day One: I joined the server and started to build a house very close to spawn because I though spawn was randomly decided (different players, different spawn) but I was wrong. Our house was then teleported away and I freaked out on my teammate. About five minutes later our house's roof caved in as I was arguing with my teammate telling her the server was not just survival. Then we moved away to get away from spawn. The next 20 minutes went by fast, we started a little home on a mushroom that collapsed and killed me. Then we moved to a new little cottage with a roof support and a lake and it was everything we were looking for. I then set that house on fire by placing a furnace in the house. I cried a little. But I got over it quickly and decided to make another house which was the start of our village. We had an awesome little village going! Then I burnt it down because I placed a torch on the wood surrounding our farm. I then quit the server out of rage only later to come on and go mining for about an hour (then I died from fall damage).
Day Two: This day mainly consisted of me and my two friends finding a temporary home before I left for the weekend. My friend and I then left the server and my other friend stayed on. She was then attacked by two un-named assassins who came looking for diamonds which we didn't have. But we found out it was allowed just like in real-life so we let it go. This experience soon would lead us to our current adventure.
Present Day: Today when I joined the server I went on a short mining expedition that would leave me dead after drowning. I then began saying things in chat that I was not saying followed by all of this: more random messages, death threats, 100+ enderman spawning, invisible entities killing me with myself?, the whole world turning to glass, me trying to kill my partner, me setting off an atomic bomb then inviting players to it, and hearing noise after noise in the discord channel (which was scary). This was all because my sanity level had risen so high I began to go completely insane. I later found out that this was because a witch cursed the land that I had been working on so I was forced to pack up and leave. After about 30 minutes of traveling with my partner across the world we came upon our current village. Also on this day I met multiple new people that without their knowledge kept me from quitting the server with their upbeat attitudes and hilarious/amazing personalities.
Overall, this server is AMAZING, around every corner there is a new experience and a new face. I would HIGHLY recommend joining this server.

Hello, as some of you may know, I am a player on the server. As a way to generate some more people to try and experience this server I have decided to write down my journey so far. Know that none of this is fake, embellished, or made up to make it seem cooler than it is. All of this actually happened in this server.
My first day was a wild one. Like many, I joined and was lost. Fortunately, there were people on and although I did not talk to them, them talking about the server reassured me that maybe this server is legitimate about its claims. I still had my doubts though, and those started to disappear when I started to get my first tutorial messages. When I created an axe, I was told that if I chopped the lowest block of wood that the tree would fall and it did. The leaves decayed fast and the wood fell too. Now, I play a lot of modded and anyone who does can tell you just how useful this small change is. Getting wood is so much faster. I had read the post first before joining the server too, so I knew that starting your own village was a path that I wanted to go after.
I eventually found a village that, much to my surprise, started talking to me! They asked me to attend church as I had recently moved in and so, as church bells started ringing, I walked into the generated church of this small quaint village. As I approached, the villagers also came into the small church. I learned later that each village has its own personality, and even if someone finds one and leaves because it does not like the personality, the village can dynamically change. My village was religiously focused, though I found out later that I became cursed shortly after and my village became uneducated and could only say potato. I have since taken steps to uncurse myself, but this has proved much more difficult than imagined.
As I learned more about the server, my village grew around me. I started a farm, nudged in that direction by a quest for potatoes and carrots. I also knew I needed to feed them as their population was growing and there were more mouths to feed. Next, I started work on an industrial smeltery, but I quickly learned that if you do not want to burn your building down, you need a chimney for the smoke to exit from and stone walls to keep the heat inside. This server definitely itches that creative urge. This is the first server in a long time that has me pausing and trying to come up with ways to succeed. I literally feel the need to "beat the server" and achieve what nature doesn't want me to. Next was the library and two schools to help educate my population more. I am trying to get miners and other service workers to help build the village with me. Then I started work on the dock and market, which is what I am currently working on. I wanted to open my village to the world and allow immigrants and traders to start flowing and helping my village flourish in trade and culture. Of course, things are never that easy on this server.
I decided to take a break from building and went exploring. There are some hidden treasures that you can find that can help you immensely. This is when I learned that although the server can show you the light, and allow you to create, it can also bring darkness and destruction. I traveled further and further from my home. Across rivers, plains, forests, and deserts, I walked and walked. Eventually, I found a village. I started talking to the villagers, asking them questions to learn more about them. Alas, they were a military focused city, they had tanks, and they did not want me to be there. They attacked and even though I had full diamond armor on they hit me once and almost killed me. I ran from that village, but I have not forgot about it. Next was a village that held slaves. It was a class society with elites living on top of a hill while the slaves lived in huts around the forest outside of the village. During this time I was trying to talk to anyone and they would not talk and ran away from me. Eventually, I heard whispers that grew louder and louder until it was deafening and lightning raced out of the sky and struck me. Then it kept striking near me as I ran from the village. My last village was one where I sought a priest. Had I been cursed? What was wrong with me that people would send me away?
The last part of this story is where I leave you, because I am not sure what will happen after this point. Nobody ever knows and that is what makes this server great. If you come to this expecting normal, then you came in with the wrong expectations. This server is through-and-through the strangest, most interesting thing I have yet to see in Minecraft.

He removed the curse and I was saved, at least for a second, because when he did that and I asked him questions on how this had happened and if demons were real if there were witches something happened. Father John left my vision and my character started screaming in chat even though I was not typing. I was told later that I had been digging my nails into my face trying to scratch it off. I don't know much after this, but what I do know was that I was screaming "MY HOLD WILL NEVER GO AWAY," until it all went black and I woke up back in my village.
This server is insane and I would recommend it to anyone, thank you for listening to my story.
There are several issues with your post:
1. It's not a Vanilla server as you claim
2. It's not UHC mode as you claim.
3. You are trying to force people onto Discord in order to play on your server. (Why?)
4. You don't answer questions plainly via PM. I.E. There is a communication breakdown on your part.

I am sorry, I am just a player, but that is blatantly wrong.
How do you access the server? I access it with the vanilla Minecraft launcher, meaning it is vanilla. When they say vanilla, they mean non-modded which it is, so they are correct.
I cannot find where they claimed it was UHC mode? I see they say it is ultra hardcore as in extremely difficult, but from what I see they never claimed to be a UHC server. Even if they did, the post clearly states exactly what the server is about. If you read it you would have already known that it is not intended to be in UHC mode.
They do not force people on to Discord, but the server is designed in a way that it is beneficial to be able to hear the sound effects that the server provides. I for one, like it a lot and even if they did make you use Discord, you can mute everyone else so that you only hear the special sound effects they provide for their members.
I cannot answer for this one, but I can say I have never had a problem with staff thus far.
