    It might be better to just make a mod that smooths sand visually, rather than turning it into a fluid. Similar to the NoCubes mod, except linear, not parabolic, and snapping to the edges of other blocks, rather than just creating wierd gaps and missing polygons.

    Very nice. Though the idea has been done before, and is somewhat obsolete as of 1.8 (with the introduction of Barriers), it seems solid and well assembled. My only suggestion would be to make the config option for hasCreativeTab default to true rather than false. I would also add a command to toggle debug textures; it would make them much easier to use.

    Nice work, and I hope to see more of your stuff on the forums in future :)

    So, I couldn't find anyplace to formally submit ideas for witchery, so I'll just post it here:


    Considering Witchery already has animal transformation and dream walking (of a sort), why not spirit walking?

    I imagine it would work similarly to the brew of sleeping, except, instead of being transported to the dream realm, your spirit is left to wander the overworld. to return to your body, you could just right-click it or maybe use an icy needle. (and maybe instead of a brew, it's something you use the brazier for, and it effects all players in a small radius.)


    Now, while in spirit, you would be invisible and untouchable to everything except other spirits. You would also be able to possess mobs, and with a rite, possibly even other players. However, your physical body would still be vulnerable, you would not be allowed to carry anything in your inventory (so no armor), and there could be evil spirits wandering the world that might attack a wandering spirit. (not to mention you would be unable to physically interact without some kind of medium, like possession of a mob/player.)

    as another danger of the spirit plane, the will of some creatures might prove too strong for unskilled spirit walkers, and they may find themselves trapped in the body of another creature.


    I think this would make a great addition to witchery. Imagine possessing an owl and spying on your enemies, or possessing a rival witch's familiar and using it to sabotage their plans. (and maybe, even possessing a powerful player and making them your puppet.)


    I know it's one thing to come up with ideas and another to actually code them, but I feel like this would make for a very significant and fitting addition to the mod.

    this is everything I've ever wanted out of decorative mods. This mod deserves to be one of the Decorative Mod Legends, like Carpenter's Blocks and Chisel. This is awesome! It's like microblocks with the flexibility of minepainter. (I never liked the minepainter sculpture system for a number of reasons, but this mod has solved all of them.)

    +1 for sure.

    (I usually use Paint.net (google it) and techne, though I'm thinking about switching to tabula, which looks a lot better.)

    Ok. I know everyone is worried about fancy models, but before you complain, remember this:
    1) You are entitled to NOT USE WHATEVER MODEL YOU DON'T WANT
    2) If you want a texture pack but don't like the fancypants models, just delete the json file, or replace it w/ a custom one.

    I have to agree that you're blowing it way, way, WAY out of proportion. If someone includes those obnoxious teakettle models or whatever, just either don't use the pack or delete the json file.

    TL;DR - If you don't like it, don't use it. Complaining is just irritating and pointless.

    Besides, I think that once people get the hang of it, we might see some truly great adventure maps, and even some spectacular texture packs. Yes, people might make ultra-hd packs with a million polygons, but that doesn't mean you have to use them.

    I noticed many items do not work, particularly mod items. Is there some reason it's ignoring mod recipes, or is it glitched?

    Also, something non-important to look into:
    when installed alongside extra utilities, it's called "Conveyor Belt" for some reason. maybe some kind of bizarre conflict? (Their IDs aren't conflicting; both the conveyor belt and decon table exist, just names are messed up.)

    Anyways, not important, just unusual. :P
