I don't have a problem with caves in multiplayer, but in single player they still make me nervous.
Part of it is the mobs and the sounds, but I think what really scares me is the isolation. Knowing that you are truly on your own, above or below ground, makes Minecraft one of the most harrowing experiences in gaming in my opinion.
I've been looking for a fresh server where I could help construct things like the spawn.
I played creative and was well respected in the WOM community, and I'd like to work with people to survive the elements, so your server sounds like a great fit. Never griefed, never will.
I think the day and night cycle in Minecraft is really great, but there's always room for improvement.

I don't know if Notch ever intends to sell Minecraft in a retail version, but even if he never does, Mojang should make say, five or ten Limited Edition boxed copies of Minecraft and then give them away in some sort of contest.
Each copy would contain:
:A cool, old text adventure style manual with lots of cool art
:A Creeper Mousepad
:A very cool, solid looking box
:A code for a exclusive in-game cape
:And of course, a copy of Minecraft on a disk
Alright, here's the back story for my megaproject.
I had been playing a couple of days, had a dirt cave as my house. I wanted to find a place to build my dream home.
I went across the ocean to the other shore across from me, climbed a hill, and then I saw it.
A hill that, in profile, looked like a giant spacecraft.
I knew what I must do.
Build a freaking awesome fortress.
The house in the hill came first, then I built The Great Wall, The Docks, added entrances to my mines, lit the whole thing with torches, built a park and homes, added a working minecart transit system, a lighthouse, and then brought the ocean into a constructed bay.
Like many people on here, I tried logging in offline with my saved information, but it didn't work.
When I tried to log in on the site, it said my password was incorrect, tried password reset, said my email was invalid.
Is it safe to assume that somebody somehow stole my account?
