Please, just leave it plot-less >_< Miniature quest arcs and such are one thing, but while there are some games where a plot works really well, Minecraft is not one of them. The innate fun of Hack/Mine, in my opinion, is exploring, killing monsters, looting dungeons, and advancing your characters(preferably in a multiplayer setting). Trying to shoehorn in an overarching plot(especially if it started when you generated your character) would detract from that, I think.
Well Hack/Mine is all about roaming and progressing, so you don't really need to follow the plot you can also just roam around and do **** that you want to do.
Please no Jeb or Minecraftia it's almost way too overdone.
Here's an idea for: Storylines: Main Storyline: First Act/Arc/Stage:
You are [Insert Player Name Here] The Peasent, you spawn in a village with npc's of your race populating it. You had just turned 18 and that means you will start [Insert Dangerous Activity Here] with the Village [Insert Class Name Here]s, but you need training first.
You go to the [Insert Class Name Here]'s Trainer to start. He gives you quest and stuff until lvl X, then you meet with your (Father Or Mother) to get permission to go [Insert Dangerous Activity Here]. First you need to go get 5 bread or 3 soup for dinner, on the way to the market you meet a bandit that is robbing the people there, you must kill him to gain Honor, befriend him to earn Evil Essence, or let the guards get him to earn Coward points. (Honer Respect for Neutral Npcs) (Evil Essesence Npcs will hate you) (Coward Points make you get lesser rewards) . The more respect the more discounts or free stuff you get. The more Evil Essence you get the more people will want to kill you. Coward Points, you are pathetic ! Anyways, once you get to the clerk to pay, (Right Click) Honor Points [he gives you the food for free because you stopped the Bandit / Honor Points] Evil Essence [You kill the clerk and steal the food] Coward Points [You are shamed and go back home] . You go home drop the items off [ or not (Coward)] and go [Insert Dangerous Activity Here]
Frizzil I think you can start from this and probably make an awesome plot/story line from just this first stage that I thought of plus there could be multiple story lines that people can download off of here.
Thx Frizzil if you have looked at this, and I will be glad if you put this in the mod.
I keep getting this error when I launch Minecraft (after logging in):

I've reinstalled it, but still the same error.
I suggest following the instructions in the installation videos, if it keeps happening use the Technic launcher. Sure Technic has 5.3, but its a safe way to still play and not crash.
I have some ideas to do with making a character, first one Genders. Since women/girls also play minecraft why give then a guy's character model. For the women character model they should have what all girls have, boobs. Hurhur, also while creating a character
you should be able to see what gender, what race, what class, and what skills you get from that class all in one cool GUI Thingy.
Example here:
Maybe agility could be about sprinting and how far your projectiles go :/?
Well Dexterity is what makes projectiles go straighter and further, and Agility should be used for more stuff like how fast you can walk/sprint ,how high you jump ,and for rangers what you can climb like 25=Underground blocks, 50=All blocks.
This an improvement to Warlord212's idea of different villages
New Villages
Steve Villages:
Steve Villages have about 50-75 steves populating the village.
Steve Villages are located in the plains/grasslands biomes.
Steve Villages have 10-15 normal houses, 2-3 blacksmiths, 1 Skill Teachers house (place to purchase or train for skills), 1 Mage Shop (place to buy potions), 1-2 Archer Targets.
Each house/building has 2-4 people living there.
Steves living in these villages will have steve skins and have a normal model.
Elf Villages:
Elf Villages have 45-70 populating the village.
Elf Villages are located in forests.
Elf Villages have 10-25 normal houses, 1-2 blacksmiths, 1 Skill Teachers house (place to purchase or train for skills), 2 Mage Shop (place to buy potions), 1 Archer Targets.
Each house/building has 1-3 elves people living there.
Elves living in these villages will have elf skins (like that elf from Lord Of The Rings), and have tall elf models with elf ears.
Dwarf Villages
Dwarf Villages have 75-100 dwarves populating the village
Dwarf Villages are located in Mountain biomes.
Dwarf Villages have 35-50 normal houses, 3-5 blacksmiths, 1 Skill Teachers house (place to purchase or train for skills), 1 Mage Shop (place to buy potions).
Each house/building has 2-4 dwarves living in it.
Dwarves living in these villages have Honeydew skins and have short dwarf models.
Halfling Villages
Halfling Villages have 25-75 halflins populating the village.
Halfling Villages are located in Forests and Jungle biomes (in the tree tops with bridges connecting the trees).
Halfling Villages have 15-45 normal houses, 1-3 blacksmiths, 1 Skill Teachers house (place to purchase or train for skills), 1 Mage Shop (place to buy potions), 3 Archer Targets.
Each house/building has 2-3 halflings living in it.
Halflings have normal skins but with torn clothes and have very short halfling models.
That is my improvement to Warlord212's idea of different villages
I have a great Idea. Maybe, using the same kind of thing as the vendors, Make Testificate-givin Quests. They can be "Kill X amount of an enemy" Or maybe "Gather X amount of drops".
You stole that idea from me, sorta
But good idea too.
Dual Wielding: Dual wielding is only for special classes, such as a Rouge which can wield two dagger at the same time, also the Knight or The Warrior should be able to also hold a Shield to protect them while fighting.
Staffs: Staffs are the default weapon for Mages, they are like wands but much bigger and more powerful, they can cast spells meanwhile taking much more mana. Staffs are also half melee in case the Mage needs too do some close up combat.
Power Bows: Power Bows are only available to Rangers, power bow add special effects to normal shots and skill shots. Like a Fire bow which set opponents on fire for X amount of time. The Ice bow which freezes and stuns enemies for X amount of times. (Frizzil can think of other power bows later.)
Skills and Abilities
New ways to get Spells/Abilities: Way One: you can either get 1 ability when you level via Spell map which Frizzil has shown us in the past. Way Two: You can go to a Village/Town and learn a new ability from "Class Teachers" without leveling up, but you'll need a level requirement to learn the ability or spell, it'll take money and training of the spell or ability you want to learn such as you get a quest to kill something X amount of times with a pre-skill of the skill that you are trying to get (so basically you get a like some kind of preview of that skill that you can only use on that quest or until you actually get it) or get a special item that is required for the skill like some kind of magical stone acquired by defeating a boss.
Preview Skill/ Pre-Skills: You can get these pre-skill when doing a quest to get that skill, like I said previously. But the preview of the skill would be much weaker than the actual skill so you can't just keep that skill forever and have the full effect of it. Also the pre-skill will not have any kinds of effects that the skill actually has.
Class Teachers: Class teachers are only found in villages and are found in special houses. They teach new skill for the payment of Money and Training, thus a new way to learn skill without leveling up.
IDEAS
~snip~
PRE-SET skins depending on each race elf would be an elf. steve would be a steve. dwarf would be a dwarf etc.
~snip~
I Don't think they should add pre-set skins, 1. Its awful because I wanna look how I wanna look like, 2. For every different race they shoud have their know characteristics of how they look, like The tiger, cat, or wolf people should have tails and what-not, So I vote NOT to have pre-set skins.
I am in need of a redstone genius to help me make a minecart station. Now i know you're thinking wow this noob. But i want this station to be the best anyone has ever seen. I have the ideas, but not the redstone capability. Also i have a youtube channel on which i will be posting redstone tutorials. I know redstone but i am not advanced enough to figure this out! add my skype if you want to help!: knuckles5902
I think I can help I'll message you pictures and the download of the station when I'm done
