Hello, my name is sup69, I am currently trying to make as automatic of a wheat farm there is in minecraft without mods. I could use some help though, as the title says, I could use some information regarding the maximum growth time (in redstone ticks) that wheat takes to grow. If you are wondering why I would need this information for a farm, it is because I am going to try to hook up a redstone timer to the semi-auto harvesters at the end, I want to make it so that the timer powers on the dispensers at the top of my farm to place some water blocks, which will auto-harvest all of the wheat, and then automatically stop the water flow once all of the items have been harvested. I also would like it to be a one-time timer, that resets every time I push a button (I'll push the button once i'm finished replanting (the only manual part about this farm) so that it can restart the timer). I could also use some help in designing such a timer. Another variable would be the amount of redstone ticks it takes for the water to transport all of the items completely, which would be when the timer stops the redstone signal. So if you know anything about these I would greatly appreciate some information. Reminder: I need the MAXIMUM time it takes for wheat to grow, so I can make sure that it harvests all of it. Thanks for any help you are able to provide.
Note: I have seen sethblings video for a (approximately) 7 1/2 minute compact timer (), but I seriously doubt that 7.5 minutes will be enough time for all that wheat to grow.
Additional information: For the water flow and wheat amount, the water is flowing down 63 blocks to the end, and there will be a total of 512 wheat harvested. The design is one water source flowing all the way down 9 installments of a 7 block long path, with the wheat spaced on either side of the middle flow by 4 wide, and 7 long, at the last platform there is an extra row that pushes all the wheat into a hopper, which goes into a minecart chest which, when full, goes off to a hopper item sorter which puts the wheat in one chest, and the seeds in another.
Yes, this is a huge project, yes this is a lot of math, and yes, this is a long post, but if you can provide any help I will greatly appreciate it.

does anyone have a good software for windows to record said videos also if it was free or had a way to record your vioce while playing as apposed to using two different programs and having to insert the sound afterward.
Unfortunately, no, there is no balance of "good" and "free", the best i could get out of "free" was this program called EZvid, which sucks very much compared to ANYTHING. It doesn't want you to edit your videos outside of its crappy miniature editing software, it leaves a huge ugly logo on your video, it makes you choose a song from its terrible list of songs that you get third party warnings from if you dare post your video on youtube, and the best quality it can possibly do is 720p, which seems O.K. until you take a look at the color.
There is, however a way out, it's not free, but it's much better than any free software you could get, and much more price-efficient than say, some $800 piece of adobe software. It's called fraps, and for only $37 you can get the full version with no watermark or anything, and all later versions are included. I currently use fraps and it works great, easy to record, easy to save, and easy to export into your editing software. The only problems I've ever had with it are that it sometimes crashes, but I'm pretty sure that only happens because of my glitchy laptop.

Okay, so here's the pitch, one of my best friends, (concealed username) is TOTALLY into Asain chicken (NOT racist, don't ask why, i don't know either)and i made a texturepack for him, but I think a mod would work better. I also want to have MY mod ideas implemented, so.... I want kindof a smash up of several mods. First, for the Asain chicken part, I want to have the salt ore from britishcraft or whatever, then, I want ONLY the palamino horses from the mo' creatures mod, and (here's the original part) craftable chariots! I will leave an image of the crafting recipes at the end. I also want to have the craftable saddles from the Aether mod (same recipe). And if the poll works out in that way, we're gonna bring in the quiver! In addition to the salt (as mentioned before), i want to be able to craft soy sauce, and terriyaki sauce (hope i spelled that right) to top the asain chicken (please don't use my soy & terriyaki sauce textures, they're pretty lousy). I would also like explosive arrows craftable too! you take an already crafted arrow, and put it under a piece of gunpowder (sulfur) and you get an arrow that explodes on impact (about 1/8 the explosion of a TNT block). If the quiver is going to be craftable (by vote), it will be able to hold the explosive arrows and if you have that in your hotbar (the quiver) then your bow only shoots explosive arrows. If you take the quiver out of your hotbar, your bow will go back to shooting normal arrows.
