I do have optifine, my render distance is short and my system info follows, Intel core I5 2.60ghz 8.00gb of ram and an ATI or AMD graphics card.And removing all the files won't do anything I tried that a few days ago when I had way too much stuff in .minecraft
I've been having some wired lag in minecraft, in minecraft 1.5.2 I get 160 or more fps where as in 1.6 and up its decreased MASSIVELY!! the frame rate is 15-30 fps or less! So yes I know lots of people have had this issue with the new launcher and I'm wondering if mojang is fixing it or is there a fix for it.
