Hello there, I just started playing Minecraft again and wanted to set up a server to play with a few friends. After getting all the settings done, I tested to see if I could join, I could with no issue, however when my friends tried to join they got the following error.
I did some research on the issue, and found that a lot of people suggested it had to do with your firewall. I tried several solutions, including:
- Triple checking the port (25565) was forwarded in both Tcp and ucp
-Adding exceptions for the port in my firewall, and give java access through my firewall
-double checking if my connection was working via hosting another game server (That worked)
-Literally disabling my firewall completely
My friend also tested if he could join other Minecraft servers as well, and he could.
If anyone has any other suggestions, that would be very helpful.
