Hmmm i updated the info to the what you suggested but the website say "Port 25565 is closed on 192.168.1.46"
EDIT: checking now the website auto makesd the ip to 76.169.199.*** and it saya the port is open on it but the ip 76.169.199.*** is not the one I port port fowarded or the one that shows up for ipv4 when i type ipcong in cmd PS Ty fer the support regardless
Your friends don't join from 192.168.1.46, that IP just port forwards your computer and it is needed for people to join through your internet. And people outside your network are supposed to join with your internet IP, 76.169.199.***. When people with your internet IP join, they automatically get routed to 192.168.1.46 (your computer). They cannot join with 192.168.1.46 as it as a private address, not a public one. That is why it says port is closed on 192.168.1.46 and not 76.169.199.***. 76.169.199.*** is the real IP of your server as it is the public address of your internet and it will route your friends to to your computer, then the server. So leave the portforward as 192.168.1.46, you join with it and your friends join as 76.169.199.***.

Java edition isn't cross platform at all. If you want your kids to join from their tablets, run a Bedrock server.

Are you on Ethernet or Wi-Fi? If you're on Wi-Fi you need to enable something in Windows to make it work.
