Character Name: Doctor Equinox Character Race: High Elf Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:.Equinox was born into a wealthy family of High Elves, but he had dusty grey hair that made him look like a Wood Elf. Because the other high elven children teased him, he became solitary and developed a love for walking in the forest and climbing trees. He was always an outcast because of this. His own father disliked him and was always saying his younger son would be the heir, and that Equinox was a failure. One day, Equinox decided he had had enough. He stole a small sailboat and some provisions and pushed off in no particular direction. By the time he landed on shore, he was completely lost and having never been taught how to survive in the wilderness, he was at a loss of what to do. In a matter of hours he began to feel hungry. He wanted to go home, but he had no idea where to go. He survived in the woods by eating berries and plants, especially Marsh Reeds which he broke open and ate the sugar out of. He also found melons growing by a small creek, which provided him with water, and he also found some Serpents Stalk. The real problem was monsters. He was never trained in how to survive alone, and had never so much as seen a spider. When the first night came, he heard growling and groaning and was so scared, he climbed up a tree to hide. In this manner he did survive, but acquired a large quantity of bruises and cuts from the branches. One night he fell out of his tree and was attacked by a zombie holding a wooden club in the shape of a sword. He was nearly killed, but he stumbled over a tree root and fell face-first into some Tippens Root! He did manage to get up that tree, but when he came down again in the morning and studied the Tippens Root further, he remembered a remedy he had heard about in a book he read when he was young; “Tales of a traveling Alchemist”. He recalled the remedy and brewed it up immediately. The stench was almost unbearable, but he smeared the paste all over his wounds, and by the next few days, he began to heal up. He slowly learned how to craft tools from fallen branches and make ropes from grass wound together, and eventually he decided to explore and try to find other people to help guide him home. He traveled a long ways, and finally saw a village in the distance, but before he could reach it he was attacked and poisoned by a Cave Spider. When he did get to the village he shouted “Help! I need a Doctor!” But when the people came out of their houses, they were not what he expected, they were Kharajyr! The local doctor treated him. The doctor told him that he should not leave the village for about 2 months, for by that time he would be fully recovered. He was impressed by the skill of the Kharajyr: they build him a small mud-brick hut in a matter of seconds. He decided he wanted to know more about the doctor's remedies, so he asked the doctor to take him as his apprentice, and was accepted. Ko'Serin said it was a village custom and not used anywhere else, but he would have to swear this oath to become Ko'Serin's apprentice:
“I take to witness to the goddess, to keep according to my ability and my judgment, the following Oath and agreement: To consider dear to me as my parents him who taught me this art, and if necessary to share my goods with him; to look upon his children as my own brothers and sisters, to teach them this art; and that by my teaching, I will impart a knowledge of this art to my own children, and to my teacher's children, and to apprentices bound by this oath, and no others. I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone. After that, he said goodbye to Ko'Serin, and sailed for home with the aid of a map. When Equinox got home, he found his family sick with The Blood-Spot Plague. He tried and tried to cure them, but it was of no use. They all died, and he was also infected. He managed to cure himself, but the spots on his skin remained, an everlasting reminder of his failure. His entire family now gone, he began to wander around aimlessly, always trying to improve his medicine, and find better cures.
What are your characters ambitions?: Equinox wants to be able to cure any wound and any disease. He wants nobody to ever die of disease again. He wants to find out why the gods made it so people must die, he wants to find why the gods made it so people live. He wants knowledge. He is also a friend of the Kharajyr and wants them to be more accepted in the world, and no longer be treated like outcasts and scum, and he wishes other High Elves were less stuck up.
Is there anything else you would like to say about your character:He is 583 years old, and 6 feet 1 inches tall. He weighs 180 LBS. He is uncomfortable speaking with orks, dwarves, humans and even other elves, because he has spent so much time away from them. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? : I say to the Dwarf, “You seem too old to be in this crowd, you could catch Bo'dank. The Dwarf responds “Aye well, i's nae like a've got muuch choice, wi' me old mammy be'in sick wi' Ki'katta.” “Do you need help? I am a Doctor; I can try to cure her.” “How many Minas a're ye askin for?” “Perhaps a loaf of the bread you are selling? It smells very good.” “Aye, Its a deal.” “Very well then, show me to your mother, and I will treat her.” The Dwarf leads me down a side street and through a door into a small hut, where he shows me to his mother, lying on a bed. “Drink a half a cup of this potion every meal.” “Thank ye lad, yo'ure very koind tue us.”
You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? : I walk up to to the Ork and inquire “Why are you threatening this Dwarf? What did he do to upset you?” The Ork rumbles in reply “Dat stupid Dwarf gave me some fake gold for my knife!” The Dwarf breaks in: “Y'a damn lie'n Ork scoom! A've ne'er done any'in o' da sort!” I calmly point down at the knife in the Dwarf's belt and inquire “What is that then?” to which the Dwarf says “Its me oun dagger! I di'nna get it from heem!” I ask the Ork to show me the fake gold, and he complies. The evidence is now strongly pointing in the favor of the Ork. I then tell the Dwarf “The evidence is against you now. The only fair way to settle this now is for you (I point at the Ork) to give the Dwarf the fake gold.” “And you (points at the Dwarf) give him the dagger. Does that seem fair?” The Ork nods in agreement, but the dwarf shouts out in protest “Fair? Thats bare-handed robbery that is!” “Lets review our facts here. Its late, I'm tired, and there is a fight going on. I want to end the fight. This Ork was about to tear you to shreds, but I stopped him. Now I am giving you a chance to NOT get torn to bits, and instead just give the Ork back his dagger.” The dwarf slowly nods his head, and after they make the exchange, I leave.
Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenseless man. What does your character do? :I walk over to the man and ask “Are you hurt?” “No, I'm just fine” says the man. I give him my walking stick and help him pick up the coins. Then I ask “Why is one as old as yourself working? Why does your wife or son not do it?” “Because my wife died last year, and my son is ill with Bo'dank, so it is I that must buy medicine.” “I am a Doctor, and I have supplies. Bring me to your son, and I will cure him for no fee.” “Alright, if you say so.” He brings me to his house, and I instantly smell the cheese-like smell of Bo'dank. “Take these herbs, and grind them into paste together. Then eat it. I would recommend mixing it with Mushroom Stew, that will make it taste a little better.

In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: Roleplaying is the act of creating a character and a game world, and acting that character out, preforming his actions, moving him, and sometimes even talking for him/her.
In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Meta-gaming is using out of character knowledge to influence your characters behaviour. For example, I was playing Dungeons and Dragons a while back, and my Dungeon Master told me there was treasure on the floor. I said I would get the treasure and he double checked, "You really want to go for the treasure?" If i were meta-gaming, I would have realized that there was a trap from his behaviour, but my Character did not know that, do I went ahead and activated the trap.
In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: For example, power-emoting is like when you are playing a chat-based video game, where everyone says in chat what they will do and not do. If one person walks up to another person and says: "Stewart kills bob" that would be power-emoting. Not power-emoting would be saying something like this: "Stewart punches bob".

Character Name: Doctor Equinox.
Character Race: Southerner.
Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Equinox became very, very, sick at at the age of 14, but the local healer could not help him. His parents left their village to try to find somebody who could cure their child. They travelled far and wide, and at last found a man to help them. His name was Jacob, but instead of being called Healer Jacob, he was called Doctor Jacob, a term which he said was from the village in which he was born. He cured Equinox, but it took a very long time. When he was recovered, he decided to become an apprentice to Jacob. He learned medicine, and when he was graduated, he traveled around the world to find out new forms of medicine. He traveled far and wide, and saw many things worth seeing. He also learned much medicine, and how to cure even the most sick of people. He became a great Doctor, and a great man.
He is tall and skinny, and has black hair and tanned skin. He is down to earth and polite, and does not tolerate being unkempt or slacking off. But when he is also a kind and caring man, always trying to help those in need, and find greater forms of medicine.
What are your characters ambitions?: He wants to be able to cure anything, and make it so that nobody is unhappy or sick.

If he cannot calm them down, he gets waits until one emerges victorious and then carry's the unconscious one away to heal him. If it seems that one is going to kill the other, he yells for help.

I want to make a complaint about SawyerKling. He was repeatedly throwing swords at me in the throwing swords at me so as to get an excuse to kill me. He also threw a bit of purple wool at me and then used it as an excuse to kill me. I would like something to be done about it because he is just camping everyone and it takes a lot of fun out of the game-play.

Have you had any previous experience in roleplaying?: Definitely, although I have never played on a Role Playing server before, I have played dungeons and dragons for over a year.
Have you read and understood and agree to the rules?: I agree to them, they seem very fair.
How did you hear about the Lord of the Craft?: I searched "Top 10 minecraft servers" and found this website: http://www.gamefront.com/top-10-best-minecraft-servers/. I thought this server looked nice, so I started poking around on the wiki and stuff.

In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: Roleplaying is the act of creating a character and a game world, and acting that character out, preforming his actions, moving him, and sometimes even talking for him/her.
In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Meta-gaming is using out of character knowledge to influence your characters behaviour. For example, I was playing Dungeons and Dragons a while back, and my Dungeon Master told me there was treasure on the floor. I said I would get the treasure and he double checked, "You really want to go for the treasure?" If i were meta-gaming, I would have realized that there was a trap from his behaviour, but my Character did not know that, do I went ahead and activated the trap.
In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: For example, power-emoting is like when you are playing a chat-based video game, where everyone says in chat what they will do and not do. If one person walks up to another person and says: "Stewart kills bob" that would be power-emoting. Not power-emoting would be saying something like this: "Stewart punches bob".
Character Name: Doctor Equinox.
Character Race: Southerner.
Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Equinox became very, very, sick at at the age of 14, but the local healer could not help him. His parents left their village to try to find somebody who could cure their child. They travelled far and wide, and at last found a man to help them. His name was Jacob, but instead of being called Healer Jacob, he was called Doctor Jacob, a term which he said was from the village in which he was born. He cured Equinox, but it took a very long time. When he was recovered, he decided to become an apprentice to Jacob. He learned medicine, and when he was graduated, he traveled around the world to find out new forms of medicine. He traveled far and wide, and saw many things worth seeing. He also learned much medicine, and how to cure even the most sick of people. He became a great Doctor, and a great man.
He is tall and skinny, and has black hair and tanned skin. He is down to earth and polite, and does not tolerate being unkempt or slacking off. But when he is also a kind and caring man, always trying to help those in need, and find greater forms of medicine.
What are your characters ambitions?: He wants to be able to cure anything, and make it so that nobody is unhappy or sick.

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: He made a Doctors oath called the Oath of Equinox, which he makes all his students swear to. (The oath is actually the Oath Of Hippocrates) and I will carry it in a book if that is ok. If not, please tell me
Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? Equinox checks the shopkeepers wares. If he finds items that would be useful to him, he buys them, but tips generously, and also gives him a potion of healing. If not, he just leaves a tip and a potion for any sick he may have.
You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? Equinox tries to calm things down as best he can, even going so far as to bribe both parties if necessary. If he cannot calm them down, he gets waits until one emerges victorious and then carry's the unconscious one away to heal him. If it seems that one is going to kill the other, he yells for help.
Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: Equinox immediately helps the old man, paying no regard to the money. He helps the old man up, checks for injuries, and gives the old man his own staff. Then he gathers the coins together and gives them back to the old man.

7) why are you the best choice for guard? I see fight everywhere. there just are not enough guards to deal with them all. I am the best choice because I know almost every kind of fighting in minecraft and I am willing to use them to enforce the rules i know the rules by heart and i am always fair.
