Epic Build is an upcoming YouTube series that is currently looking for Minecraft players who want to flex their building skills. Inspired by reality competitions, such as Top Chef or Project Runway, each episode will consist of a Miner Challenge decided by a panel of judges and a Major Construction voted on by the Minecraft community. Whoever receives the least amount of votes will be eliminated until we determine the final winner. Potential contestants must be at least 18 years old and be willing to commit to a six month recording schedule. The first season will begin in January and conclude in June of next year. Expect to devote a few hours every other weekend to this project including construction time, personal interviews and building critiques.
Judges (Need 3 Total)
We're looking for established players with a reputation for Epic Builds. You'll be required to collectively decide on the winner of each Miner Challenge as well as critiquing Major Constructions before they are voted on by the Minecraft community. Personality and experience are important! This part is less intensive but you must have a channel or website to qualify.
Contestants (Need 12 Total)
We're looking for competitive players who want to prove they have the creativity and ingenuity to construct the most Epic Build. You'll be required to test your knowledge of Minecraft and compete against other builders in various challenges with time constraints. Reliability and consistency are important! This part is more intensive but offers wider exposure to the audience.
Applications will only be accepted until December 12, 2011!
If you're interested, apply here or message me privately! :smile.gif:
I'm going to be celebrating my 100th episode tomorrow by giving away a free Minecraft gift code. So keep an eye on my YouTube channel and watch Episode 100 as soon as it is uploaded to grab the code as quickly as possible. Good luck!
My tentative goal is to upload 365 episodes in 365 days which hopefully will be reached by the end of the year. This series is an homage to the classic Let's Play videos that got me hooked. There's no fancy video editing or anything, I just try to show as much of the building process as possible. The concept of our world is building a city inspired by the Chicago skyline. The first big project is going to be the Sears Tower as a gravity mob grinder. If you have any ideas for future projects, or if you want to help me build, just let me know.
I just recently hit my 57th episode! My tentative goal is 365 episodes in 365 days. I've also started hosting guest 'stars' on my server. Each guest signs on for an hour and we record a few episodes together. I want to start a thread about my series but I'm not exactly sure where to put it. Anyway thanks everyone for watching!
I've started a Let's Play series on a Survival Multiplayer server but usually it's just me playing. I'm on episode 12 currently with new episodes uploaded daily. I'm a huge fan of Let's Play series in general and I'm probably subscribed to most of the ones listed in this thread already. Here is a link to my playlist...
Thank you so much for your help purchasing my private server. I'm a complete newbie when it comes to this and I have a few beginner questions. What's the best way to contact you regarding something not necessarily technical or sales related? Maybe there's a simple tutorial you can recommend for someone who wants to properly maintain a server like mine? I appreciate your time and level of customer service so far.

Thanks! This forum is so active I wasn't sure where the appropriate place would be.
