Thanks alot for these settings! This will help many people, because instructions on PTM wiki site are really poor.
You're welcome. I was getting tired of digging through old posts and had planned to collate it for my own use anyway. This just gave me motivation to finally do it.
BTW, I'm still looking for the diagram showing biome distribution of color gradients from grasscolor.png and foliagecolor.png files. I remember it was also related to the temperature and moisture parameters. Do you know where can I find it?
I've seen it. But not recently and didn't save/copy it. Best bet would be to try looking in the textures forum.
This is the part of the settings I don't quite understand. What is exactly a 'mud' thing in a Minecraft world? I don't know a block with such a name.
I always assumed it replaced the sand or clay with dirt. I haven't played with those, so I'm not sure. If anyone has I'd love feedback.
Well... I played alot with this part of PTM and I can tell the replace block mod DOES exactly all replacements at the same time (when it is generating world) - it doesn't matter what is listed first... So, this example:
does switch between sand and dirt. At least it is how it works for me :smile.gif: ...
... most recent version of the PTM+bugfix)
Well, this is all I had to comment, anyways thank you for this awesome guide.
Ahhh. There was an issue a while ago. I see it's been fixed. I'll amend for the next version.
Thanks for the feedback.
