It actually is part of a full set. Many of the textures in the set are more heavily influenced by the works of others so I wont release them under my "branding." If I end up doing more custom work I will update the OP. Thanks again for the feedback.

Have you read the rules? Yes (I even agree to them but you didn't ask me that, oh and ***)
How did you find Aurora? Recommended by a friend that found the site but does not play on the server. Wierd right?

I bring you a series of recently completed custom textures for MC. Feel free to use them in a texture pack if you give credit where due. Speaking of credit, many thanks to Doku and John Smith for inspiration.

Still working on this. Anyone know if you can change the shape of the clasp?

I don't see a problem. What do you not like on it?

Well, there is an odd blinking transparency issue with the sides. I also have no idea idea how to tackle the clasp. I agree it doesn't look terrible, it just certainly doesn't look great.

Obviously we all know that the texture setup for chests has changed dramatically. I put some work into a conversion for my personal chest texture but I am pretty dissatisfied with the result. With the size difference I was unable to maintain the level of detail through the conversion. With all the talent on this forum I thought that I would see if anyone else was willing to give the conversion a try. If someone likes the image and wanted to use it in their texture pack that would be a fine trade.

    Original texture setup.

The result after the conversion. - not good

As most of you have figured, I was unable to restore our main map as originally intended. You may be wondering why this happened, our host deleted that map. The reason we were on the temp map in the first place was due to our hosts inability to finalize our database server, so for them to have also deleted our map is inexcusable. The stress of trying to deal with this coupled with my current transition into a new job has been too much for me. I have thereby decided to cancel my services and shut down the server indefinitely. I really apologize for the loss of all of your hard work but this issue has gotten outside of my control. I hope to see you all down the road in either another game or another server if you have one I should check out. Take care guys and don't forget, Squawktopia Forever!

Hello good MC people. I have come out of my birthday hiatus to find myself in an odd position. I have cured the database issue but have been a bit busy with a transition to a new job. Sunday of this week will bring a good amount of server changes including the reimplimentation of the original map. Bucko, your ToS is on the horizon.

Hello server goers! I am not dead, just celebrating another year here on earth. I am putting together a quick 1.5 build to pass the time in between the bukkit updates. Yes I realize that 1.5 has been out for a while, but I trust you have all been amusing yourself with it somehow. When I get back from my vacation I'll have some more time for the server.

Guys, due to issues from our host we may have some downtown / rollbacks for the duration of today. I wasn't given much information other than it is part of an upgrade process. Lets hope it has a good result.

To the new applicants, we are currently on a pure vanilla build so this is a good time to stop by and get to know the community. When we get our main server build back up and running we can add you into the fold.

Here ya go guys. A quick explanation from our host regarding the upgrade process and bukkit.
    Minecraft - v1.4 Bukkit Support
    Apr 01 2011 23:44:38 by Killing
We just wanted to give you an update on the state of play.

We're currently still working through all the 200+ bukkit plugins, checking for issues, upgrading ones that can be updated, making notes of ones which the authors are currently working on fixes, as well as listing those that don't seem to be actively supported any more.

This could have been a relatively simple and quick process but unfortunately there where some changes a little while back in the Bukkit API which basically broke pretty much every plugin out there. This is also why we haven't updated Bukkit in a while as we where waiting for plugin authors to have chance to fix their plugins to work against the updated API.

The release of 1.4 is pretty much forcing the issue, as everyone wants to be on the latest version so plugin authors are working hard to update their plugins.

Once we have done a startup test on every single plugin and are happy that all the key plugins are now compatible with 1.4 we will push out a big update for you.

So you are aware there are currently there are a number of what we determine as "key" plugins, as they are used by a vast number of customers, which haven't been updated to work with the 1.4 compatible Bukkit server. We are monitoring the state of these and will make the call, likely some time this weekend, as to if we will update Bukkit to 1.4 before they are fixed or if we will wait for them.

Please be aware that both Bukkit and all the plugins are created by members of the community in their spare time, to make Minecraft more fun to play, they all deserve our respect and thanks for this so please try to be patient.
