    I really want to know how to make polygonal models in Minecraft. Triangles, trapezoids, hexagons, octagons, whateverthehellagon.

    I am planning a mod, and I would like to mimic the "refractor" from megaman legends.

    My adventure map is coming along at a very slow pace. I have been hit with a lot of work lately, and even had to cut my day off short.

    I am comfortable releasing another teaser. for the sure to be awesome adventure I am crafting for all of you dedicated Legends fans.
    No spoilers here, just something to get you thinking.

    MUHAHAHA!! My original texture of the villagers is designed with my adventure map in mind. I Can Make them "less creepy" for the standard pack (i am keeping them that way in adventure) but be glad they are not "smiling" cause that would be MEGA CREEPY.



    Today, I have the day off, so I am working on Textures all day, and If I finish early I will continue on my adventure map. ITS GONA BE EPIC!
    I have about an hour and a half of music lined up for the map, I am mixing it, adding intermissions and blending classic legends themes together. I am also including the Barret vs. Tron Theme from Legends 3 prototype just for fun :D have a listen I don't think i will be able to use it in the background track (its too up tempo) but it will be nice to have the Mp3 for download.

    I have lots of Ideas for mob re-textures, zombies, spiders, cave spiders, blazes and pig-men. Although I am having a hard time thinking of a re-skin for the skeleton... actually now that i think about it I can do a lot with that model as its very complex :D



    UPDATE:
    ISN'T HE ADORABLE!! .... No? oh well, less creepy though.

    I have found a way to make the zenny stop glowing green, or glow a different color.

    Currently the Xp orbs rarely drop past the third tier of orbs, so only 3 unique colors of zenny ever show up after killing a mob.

    I will be tweaking the zenny colors for a while and testing different "color cycles" to see if i can get zenny to change color very slowly so we don't have rainbow zenny.


    The update to zenny (exp orbs) is available to anyone who downloads the latest adventure version of the texture pack

    ah so I mistakenly made it a BMP and not a png... LOL i was kind of in a rush. (trying to sleep, but couldn't, so decided to get some texture work in at 2 am.)

    Maybe describe your problem a bit more? What files do you have? What is in them? Where are they in your texture pack? How does it look in game?


    file is located in \misc and is named xporbcolor.png like its supposed to. The File is a 16x16 50% grey image.

    After unpatching and repatching with CC enabled, I my xp orbs are still shades of green yellow and sometimes turquoise.

    I am still seing the glow/shimmer as well. Basically its as if I did nothing at all. perhaps this function is broken with the latest mine craft version?

    Custom Colors has an option. Check out the MCPatcher thread in the "Information for Texture Pack Authors" section. If I'm reading it correctly, a 1x1 pixel square of 50% gray should do it.

    Unfortunately this means that your pack will require CC to look right. Then again, what decent pack doesn't these days? <_<


    thanks for these tips I will be sure to include these files in my next repack. Normally my pack needs MC patcher so enabling custom colors is normally standard.

    More work on my adventure map :P
    Thanks to the inclusion of a ambient light read out in the F3 overlay, the entire map is lit to over light level 8. This prevents random mobs from spawning (creepers). Instead, a combination of player detectors, and levers/pressure plates/buttons will trigger hidden dispensers with mob eggs. All mob encounters are now Planned, and timed. No worries about creepers, and no issues with mob spawners infinity flooding the ruin.
    There are also no caves in the entire map, other than the ruin I am building. Because there are no caves, the random "scary cave" sound should never be played during the entire play through. I wanted this because I am setting up a you-tube playlist of legends music to go along with the play through of the map.

    I have Pushed an update to my old adventure map "Legends Home". Some minor Bug fixes and I converted it to anvil (and fixed the bugs made by the switch)

    Once again I am posting its availability here on the Legends texture pack forum.

    I am also making great progress on my latest map. I am done writing the the script, and I am almost done the Introductory level.

    4 decks, 3 engines, Hybrid Refractor/hydrocarbon power generation.

    looks nice so far except for the wheat hard to tell if its ready


    I had found it a little hard to tell. Yet it has not been to much of an issue (enough to change the packs).

    It should be a simple fix, if you would like, just select the final wheat stage and boost the contrast a bit to make it more golden.

    Its fun to edit textures and you should defiantly give it a try.

    Great to see the Pack back! I really like what you did with the Light blocks... It makes for a very fun lighting scheme, Kind of more "adventure" style than the variation on glowstone i made.

    I should repack the texture with your jungle leaves, they are great! Would you mind?

    Mega man Legends Is my favorite game in the history of games, and Minecraft is number 2. I will be working to maintain the "adventure Version" of this texture pack, to go along with my Adventure map Projects.

    SO I am working on a texture pack, and I wish to have EXP orbs that come in a wide range of colors.

    I have made the texture, it is beautiful, bright colors that seem to radiate. Then I hit a problem...

    EXP orbs are green, or yellow... nothing else. Once the game loads the texture It F's up my wonderful texture and makes it all green and flip-in yellow.

    how can i Fix this?
