    I really like this small list of mods that you created! I especially like the enchantments mod, and I've been looking for a fortune-compatible ore mod for a long time!

    Unfortunately, your Fortune Ores mod isn't compatible with Iguana's Tweaks for TConstruct, which is a bit of a shame and I hope that there is an easy fix for that.

    Still, these are good mods and I look forward to seeing more of you in my mod packs. :)

    Minecraft: Pocket Addition 0.1

    For Minecraft 1.5.2

    This mod is an extension of Mr.Xie's "Xie's Mod" that adds several items that were only available in the mobile version of Minecraft.

    ~~~~~
    Cyan Rose: These flowers are a bit rarer than the other two. They can be crafted into cyan dye.
    Glowing Obsidian: As hard as normal obsidian, these blocks also emit light. You do need silk touch, or you'll just get normal obsidian. Made from 4 redstone and 1 obsidian.
    The Nether Reactor Core and the Stonecutter currently serve only an aesthetic purpose, but will be more useful as the mod progresses.
    Nether Reactor Core is made from 6 Iron Ingots and 3 Diamonds.
    Stonecutter is made from 4 cobblestone.
    Download the mod HERE.
    Requires Minecraft Forge and Xie's Mod.
    Today, I've just made the beginnings of a small extension for Xie's Mod that will add items and blocks that were only available in the mobile version of minecraft. I call it- Minecraft: Pocket Addition. Go see it and tell me what you guys think!
    P.S. I think there might be a problem with how Xie's Mod handles what side of the block textures appear on. I found that if I apply multiple custom textures to one block, even if I denote which sides each should use, only one texture is used. Is there a bug in Xie's Mod, or did I misunderstand his instructions?
    Hey, I'm working on an extension to your mod that will have normal trees drop seeds instead of saplings, which will grow as seedlings to grow over time. Currently, I've made the items and the seedlings so what I need to do now is to tinker with the code of the leaves.
    Once I get some feedback and make textures, I'll post screenshots.
    Put this in the mods / wip mods section
    This isn't the actual mod page, just a sort-of development post. I will add a page for the mod soon.
    posted a message on Stuff Regarding My Ore Mod
    So... um... where do I start?
    As you can tell, I'm Sparky. Not my real name, but call me that anyway. I'm also the very inactive creator of a little Minecraft mod called "Sparky's Ores", found here.
    Because of stuff like school, homework, life and everything else not Minecraft related, plus the existence of a fatal glitch that came up where using the bronze and copper pickaxes on anything rocky will crash the game, I have not worked on the mod AT ALL during the past half-year.
    Before I promised the mod will be updated to Minecraft Beta 1.9. Well... by the time I typed this, Minecraft was officially "released", Notch stopped working on the game to make another and a race of mildly-intelligent squidwardish beings dominate the planet. Not to mention that Jeb created a new type of world that is DOUBLE the height of what was before? Yeah... I am really behind, since now already another future version looms around us.
    So... what about the mod? While dusting the new but obviously flawed mining system where you need bronze to mine iron, a horrible bug appeared making the pickaxe crash the game when it hits the side of a cave. Unfortunately, I have not found a way around this.
    But, no need to fear, my friends. I still am making this mod and have more ideas than I had before. So, here is the game plan:
    Start Over: The code that have is now pretty unusable, so I've decided to start from square one and create new java files from scratch.
    Dump the New Mining System: Messing with Notch's code on what pickaxe breaks what caused this bug in the first place, not to mention that it increased the difficulty of the game to make mining more frustrating than it should. Since stone no longer mined iron, the player had to mine copper with the stone pick, then smelt the copper ore, then make copper tools, THEN mine tin, THEN smelt the tin, THEN make the bronze formula thingy, THEN smelt that to make bronze, THEN make bronze tools, and finally you can mine iron. See the problem? What if your hard-earned iron pickaxe breaks? If you didn't stockpile on bronze, you have to do all that AGAIN instead of just bringing a few sticks and cobble. So, I've decided to throw away the system entirely and keep Notch's well-flushed system. So, bronze will be more of an option than a requirement.
    Use More Original Ideas Than Real, Obvious Ores: So far, the ideas I shared to you were fine, but now I feel that some of them are now already overused. Copper is an important metal, but what ore mod DOESN'T have it? Tin to make bronze? Yeah. So, I'm not putting uranium, chrome or steel into the mod like before thought, since steel would have been another tier in my flawed mining system, and uranium would make it much closer to industrialcraft than I am comfortable with. I may be also nerfing the sulfur and saltpetre ores a bit because eighteen gunpowder from such common ores is overkill. Anyway, I'd say that you may expect some obscure, maybe fictional, ores to come soon.
    Improve Javascript Skills: Sadly, the biggest obstacle between me and mod completion is that I am really an uber noober when it comes to mod-making. All of my knowledge of Javascripting comes from vague YouTube videos. So, I'll really have to learn if I really want to do stuff outside the box. :(
    Take Suggestions: Fact: People who play Minecraft are very smart! Everybody has great ideas and I've already seen several in the comments and feedback. So, I may look around and find ideas from my followers sometimes to get inspiration. Speaking of, many people (Two to be exact!) suggested a Neon-like ore to be added. So, after I'm done updating and polishing, I AM definitely adding a neon ore (Neoxite? Or maybe Neonyx?) that you can process to get the gas, so you can make stuff like... well... lights. Yeah.
    So, there you have it. Pretty soon I'll work to recover this mod and update to the current version of Minecraft (1.2.5!? Geez, Sparky!), and after 1.3 is out and I updated to that, I'll start working to expand the mod and add new stuff. I've got to finish typing this to work on the mod as soon as possible.
    Thanks for reading.
    Sinseriously,
    Sparky
    posted a message on [1.6.X] Portal Gun - Reconstructed [v1] - Rewritten... again.
    Hey, I've found this problem where if you try to download both the Portal Mod and the IndustrialCraft mod, the game crashes. Apparently, after reading the Modloader report, both mods are too big for each other. Is there a way to extend the space of the files so they could work? I really want to mine for copper and tin and be able to get back with a portal gun.
