    Use Java 7 or LegacyJavaFixer.

This issue has came up pretty often, so you should look around next time.

So, I'm having a slight problem with running the forged ver. with LB

The launcher opens, everything runs smooth. I press play and nothing. nothing happens. I sat around for about ten minutes, before consulting the initial forum.

I also followed the installation instructions to the tea

    I have no clue.

Are you having trouble running the forged version of Gulliver by itself?
If so, make sure you are using Java 7 (or LegacyJavaFixer), and have added the following to JVM arguments: -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true
You can change JVM arguments by clicking Edit Profile and checking the box next to JVM arguments.

Why i would like to join:
I'm #foreveralone, i like using modpacks/mods (things like tekkit, sky factory, crashlanding, constructing my own, etc.), by downloading them, snooping around in the files to make sense of them and the main mod that i found interesting was McGulliver, the resizing mod.
    Perfect mix of events right?

My talents/skills/things that make me stand out:

I have orange hair (rl and mc)
I Like to create (hence my username)
I'm #foreveralone when it comes to playing Minecraft.
I like to build things like castles, mischief related stuff (not griefing or inappropriate stuff don't worry.), Treehouses, Cities, Lighthouses, etc.
I like Cheez (yes i saw everybody's post and they went crazy for it Razz)

    Rules/Rights:
I'm going to say my favorite part is that the server has a government like the United States, has 0-5 (a few) plugins just to make the server a bit safer and fun.
Second, I like that it has a backstory to it not just one of those jump right in servers.

    And Last the server currency:
    Cheese....... (OK?)

Not a staff member, but why did you post your application here? You already posted this on forumotion, and there doesn't seem to be a difference between the one here and the one on forumotion. If you reposted because you are desperate and you have not received a reply yet, just wait a while. I had to wait about a week for my application to be reviewed.

Hello, sorry. My staff take a while when replying to applications that don't meet the full question guidelines. since there isn't any rush to fail it. While you wait, I suggest you look through the application questions very carefully and make sure you've answered the questions properly, including using proper word length, correct spelling and grammar, etc.

This is a very hard server to get into,... if you think this application might be too hard to fill out, there is another new Gulliver Server out there that has no whitelist. You might want to give that one a try first. :)

A bit out of topic, but if you are talking about iBlaze's server on forumotion, it went down about a week ago or so I think.

Gulliver forged works but won't start, when i hit play, it disappears, but mc won't appear, I'm using 1.6.4, I'm using the correct forge, but nope (Might just be win10 :steve_rage: )

    Quote from superminekid»

It is because of your JAVA version. Gulliver wants to use Java 6, but your minecraft right now wants to use 8 or 7.Plop this file into your mods folder and it should work. Here is The file.

Okay, first of all, FlamerGamer, you should post the error logs next time so we can know what the problem is. Superminekid, although the problem you mentioned is the most common with the forged version of this mod, it is not always the problem.

"-Xmn128M" is the starting/MINIMUM RAM used by the game, not the maximum amount available. That's the -Xmx** argument that does that.

    Oh yea, completely forgot.

I put the JVM argument command in and it says that it... well see for youself

Invalid initial young generation size: -Xmn128M-Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true

Look closely at the line: -Xmn128M-Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true
Then look at this line: -Xmn128M -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true

See a difference? No? Well look at the space between -Xmn128M and -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true
That's your problem. You didn't add a space between each argument. Add one, and that might fix the problem. Also, I think that -Xmn128M is a bit too low for minecraft. Sure you don't wanna increase that?

    Introducing: The Gulliver Slo-Gro Challenge!

First, go into creative and build this machine in a spawn chunk, maybe up in the sky in a bedrock box.

    The SloGro machine.

Then, set yourself back to survival. Start at basesize 1.

You will slowly grow while playing survival! Build a big enough house before you outgrow yours! Collect resources from caves you soon won't be able to fit in! Get some dye before your size becomes unmanageable!

Feel free to adjust the command to grow (or shrink!) faster or slower.

Let me know if you try this!

I tried this, but the redstone does not repeat. More details, please?

I didn't check there yesterday, but I just checked nothing there. I wanted to see if one would show up if I tried today to launch, and nope. No crash logs before May for me.

Because you posted no crash logs. I have no idea what the problem could be. I can tell you the most common problems, however.

    1. You are trying to play with Java 8. You need Java 7 to play Gulliver Forged. If you can't play with Java 7, and just want to play with Gulliver mod, just install the Non-Forge version of the mod. If you have both installed, just change Executable in the profile to use Java 7 instead of Java 8. Usually, this is what you put in Executable: "C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe"

If that doesn't work, try this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe"

Usually you need the quotation marks for it, but if this doesn't work, try without them. If it still doesn't work, continue on with the other solutions.

    2. If you have others mods that you are using with Gulliver Forged, one or more of them are conflicting with it. Uninstall a few mods and see what happens.

    And lastly....

    3. In JVM arguments, you did not put -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true

If this is the problem, then you OBVIOUSLY did not read the whole post, as it was stated to do so.

That's all of the possible solutions I know. If none of them are the problem, then sorry.

My second attempt at a good application :)

    1. SuperSonicFan411

    2. I've always been playing the gulliver mod only by myself or with my friends. I don't know how I did not notice this server until now, as I really have been looking for a gulliver mod server for a long time (although there may be a few left, there really are not as interesting as this one). At the time I saw this server, my account got hacked, and I decided to buy an account today, just to join this server. Why? The mod (pretty obvious point I'm making here. I want to play this mod with other people!), as well as the map on this server. This map looks amazing! When I first saw the trailer, I thought that the map was actually quite interesting. Then I saw the Dynmap on the blog. That completed changed my perspective on this map. There are so many interesting buildings! There is probably more to this server than I originally thought, I said to myself. A server that has my favorite mod, as well as a map full of many different places to go to? This, in my opinion, has to be an amazing server! I'm pretty sure that no other server can compare to this!

    3. For this question, I can say a few things. One thing I can say is that I am intelligent, especially in knowing what actions to take. One example of this is solving or avoiding conflict. In the outdoors, as well as in the web, I think that this is a very important thing to take into consideration. When I am in danger of getting into a conflict, such as someone starting a fight with me or a friend of mine, I simply ask what is wrong, and I am usually told what is wrong. I ask them how to make it up and I do end up making it up, ending conflict. Another thing I can say is that I am responsible for my actions. If I cause a problem to occur, such as accidentally breaking someone's property, I make it up for them, usually by paying for what I broke. One last thing I can say is that I am mature. The last two traits I said about myself basically shows a sign of my maturity. I see maturity as having good traits, such as patience, responsibility, and more. I see immaturity as the opposite, which is having bad traits such as temper, use of profanity, and more. I think that my maturity can contribute to the server positively, in a similar way it does in real life. My maturity could help solve conflicts between other players, as well as even make other players be more mature and patient.

4.My 5 facts about myself are:

    1. In school, my best and favorite subject is mathematics. I always think that this is an important thing to know, as it will majorly impact people's lives.

    2. I am very great in technology, especially when it comes to computers. When I get older, I plan to find jobs that involve technology!

    4. My favorite hobby is playing video games.

    5. I have signed up for, but have never posted anything on any social media sites. (I am very serious about this. I don't really count talking to others as posting on social media sites, considering that conversations cannot be publicly seen.)

    5. 2. Please be courteous to your fellow players on our server. (Responsibilities)

    6. The server currency is called "Cheese". Cheese Blocks (Sponges)/Blue Cheese Blocks (Lapis Lazuli Blocks) are physical currency of this.

I tried my best at this! I hope this is a good improvement!
