"Did you really just..." Kai facepalmed. "Robotallion, 4b version 2! Get him!" Robotallion abandoned any pretense of delicacy and sprinted towards Monarus, wincing as he felt the extra power leave him. He attempted to position himself behind the Monarus, hoping that the fired shots would hit it instead.
"None." Kai's grin appeared full force. "Let me get started with this. Ability activate! Abilty Counter on Savage Air!" With a green flash, Monarus returned to Nirzan's hand. "And now ability activate: Robotallion Enforcement!" With a audible mechanical hum, a bright purple aura flared into existence around Robotallion, who instantly felt his processor and servos loosen and strengthen simultaneously.
"Now, use strategy 4b!" With a nod of recognition, Robotallion started closing on the Laserman, getting closer while never staying on exactly the same line of sight as he was a few seconds previously.
OOC: Technically, the battle did end because Warius was no longer on the gate card. So Doom Companion could activate, and it is in fact an instakill, so... Sorry. May ban that strategy after this battle, from all users... except Naga . If you want, we can say both Warius and Monarus tied that brawl or something...
IC: Kai
"Well then, if that's how you want to play it..." Kai grinned wickedly. "You may attack. I want to see what you will do. You will find that Robotallion is quite a bit stronger that my other Bakugan." On the card, Robotallion settled into a classic Kung-Fu stance, waiting for his robotic opponent to attack. "Let's go, fellow robot. I hope your processers can keep up with mine." Robotallion taunted his opponent.
"Fine then... I see I will have to use this strategy. Ability activate. Reverse Blow!" Warius shrunk back into ball form and flew back to Kai's hand. "Now, Ability activate. Doom Companion!" The card exploded, instantly taking out the Monarus and returned it to his opponent's hand.
"I will take the initiative... Gate card, set!" The card landed on the ground and expanded with a purple flash. 'Now Bakugan, brawl! Robotallion, stand!" Robotallion rose from the card, already standing in a fighting position. "Your move."
Kai waited until the Monarus was about to hit his Warius, then shouted "Ability activate! Merge Shield!" A dark purple shield sprung up in front of Warius, and since the Monarus was so close it slammed straight into the shield. Power transferred from Monarus to Warius, who roared with power as an aura of purple flames surrounded him.
"Now attack!" The Warius charged at the Monarus with his staff raised high, aiming to smash in the Monarus's head.
"I really hope you can challenge me. Bakugan, Brawl!" After both returned to his hand, Kai threw his Warius onto the same card Monarus was on. With a flash of purple light, Warius stood and roared a challenge to the opponent.
OOC: I accidentally put Grand Down as an ability; I meant to put Rapid Haos on instead.
IC: Kai
Kai grinned, and twisted an ability between two fingers, revealing his card.
"Ability activate: Rapid Haos!" The card glowed white, and another Bakugan glowed and shot onto the field by itself. When it landed, Darkus Warius rose from the ground, and promptly turned to a Haos attribute. Both spun their staffs in perfect synchronization and Seige stabbed at the Fear Ripper's chest while Warius swung his spiked club down low to sweep its legs.
OOC: No, you do not have to say until it is opened.

Kai grinned when he saw where the Reaper had landed. "You will regret that." With a flex of his wrist, Kai shot his Bakugan towards his own Gate Card. With a flash of purple light, a Darkus Siege grew from the card, spinning a black jousting spear between its hands.
"Now since it is my card... Gate Card, open! Haos Hazard!" The edges of the card glowed with a yellow brilliance as the field turned into a stretch of bright light, and starting from the feet up both Bakugan switched to the Haos attribute. He grinned; hopefully, his opponent didn't have any cards that worked on Haos Bakugan.
OOC: Battles are basically an action-reaction thing in this. I move, you counter, I counter that, until one Bakugan 'faints'.
"Why yes, I believe we shall." Kai pulled out his own gate card. He was glad they no longer had to stop time in order to battle. He readied a gate card of his own, and took a few steps back to allow some room. Some others in the park took notice, and turned to watch the impending battle.
"You may have the first turn," Kai said. His mind instantly kicked into overdrive, analyzing possibilities, strategies, and counters.

He completed a circuit of the pond, still looking for someone to battle, when his eyes lit upon seeing a person on a bench. His memory supplied the information. Nirzan. Ventus, and a rather good battler. Guardian Laserman. Hopefully he can put up a challenge. Just because he hated speeches (he dumped that all on Dan) Kai still took the time to know everyone under his command. He walked over to the bench silently, and while standing to the side asked Nirzan, "You looking for a brawl?"

The resistance's missions had started small, missions to get medicine and other necessities, but it quickly became something more. The Resistance started taking on supply trains, sabotage, and in some cases, blowing up one of Naga's many command posts. "Brooding over things won't help, you know." Kai jumped when he realized Robatallion had -once again- snuck up on him. "How do you do that? You don't have legs in your ball form. And you know why I'm unhappy." "I have my ways. But still, you should move on. You can't save those that are lost. Cheer up." "Well, I do have an idea of what I should do. Come on, we're going to the battle park." Later... Kai walked down one of the shaded pathways near the pond, enjoying the breeze and coolness of the air. But he was also looking for someone. Specifically, someone to battle with.
First off, can't wait till work is started on this mod.
