Disappointing release. Much worse desync between boat and player than anything I've experienced before. Took me 4 attempts, with 2 crashes to travel 250m in an ocean near my base. Attempt would end up near base, but I'd be unable to get out of the boat. Relogging would result in me being right back at the start.
When I did finally get back, I found a few of the new water mobs near my sea-base, but no structure.
Inside my base, a chunk got reset.
Mobs when being struck experience a lower gravity - they kind of float up and back. Arrows fly a lot faster too. Maybe these two aren't bugs, though I hope not, the lower gravity thing especially.

(auto-balanced to clear up the mobs). Every night there are at least two or three times as many mobs as any other world I've started.
The only thing I can think of (besides being a random thing) is the chunk 0,0, which as I understand it is where the most mobs consistently spawn.

I did a quick search but didn't find an answer, so I'll ask here.
How much glass should you surround lava/magma with to make it 'safe'? i.e. how close can I put a tree, or wooden chest for example to a lake of magma, or a lava flow?
