you should look before posting. The problem is, whenever you drop a tool thats been used at least once, when u pick it up again, it will break in one use

the seed is somewhere in your world's folder, however, im not sure where to find it
wait for single player commands to be updated, install it, and type //world seed

one or more of the mods you install is incompatible. To correct this, install one mod at a time, starting with modloader and deleting the meta inf, then the ones you want the most, and run minecraft between each mod you install.
install the latest version of java
when you open minecraft, leave the window open until it closes or displays an error report
this way to install mods is windows only, it doesn't work for mac or (I think) linux
when you "drop in the files" only drop files in that end with .class, .png, or a folder
you are using 7zip or winrar to open minecraft.jar, right?
most mods are downloaded off the internet in a zipped folder. when you drop in the files, are you dropping in the folder itself, or are you opening the zipped folder with 7zip/winrar and dropping the files in from there?
if this is a pirated version of minecraft, don't expect anything to work

1: explore new chunks and generate new land for some grass
2: get seeds from your already existing farm (if you have one)
3: mod yourself (when toomanyitems is updated) some seeds and start a farm

in whatever version of xray that i have, the first and second brightness settings don't change anything. the third setting makes all blocks have a brightness of 15, but dropped items, mobs, and other entities, as well as some nonsolid blocks (signs) are still whatever light they should be, from 0-14.
2 other problems:
when you first open minecraft and start playing, it always starts with the xray turned on. Minor bug, don't worry about it too much. However, the thing that annoys me the most, is that the settings in the ctrl x menu revert to the default every time you close minecraft. One more bug, is that in the ctrl x menu, whenever you go down far enough to see the booster rail, and then press the down button once more, the game crashes.fixed by Drathian.Could you fix the brightness thing said above? would be much appreciatated. :biggrin.gif:
P.S. add to the default settings, so you see through leaf blocks
