All original names and totally not inspired by any existing names. That is, unless Bethesda copyrights the word "The" as well. -

Pah. A port changes nothing...yet.
Minecraft's not dead until I see a quality drop on the PC version. Even then, I'll have mods to keep me playing. - To post a comment, please login.

Take a look.

Nope, the delay opens the door instead of closing it.
Perhaps it has to do with the TFF itself? In your picture, the default state of the TFF seems to be "off" (the block is to the right, away from the torch), while I made it "on" by default, to keep the door closed.

This do?

Wire on the left is from the delay, wire on the right is directly from the plates.
The plates work fine now, they close the door when you go in and out. But after I'm inside or outside, the delayed signal kicks in, switches the TFF, and the door opens again.
I could just remove the delay circuit altogether, and use the lever to close the door when I'm leaving...but that's not very cool. :sad.gif:

Ah, so that's how repeaters work. Great, the pressure plates work now, the staircase closes automatically.
...And then the staircase opens automatically as well, coincidentally about 2.4 seconds later. I've tried inverting the signal from the delay, which seems to fix the problem, but it renders the lever inoperable, and then the door can only be opened with the pressure plates.

The pressure plates close the door, but they don't open. After using the pressure plates, the lever ceases to function as well.
The two redstone wires coming from the left are from the pressure plates and the delay.
Either this could the issue you're talking about, and I dun goofed, or I got the wiring wrong somewhere, and I dun goofed.

Well, yeah, it is incomplete. I haven't begun working on the other decoy door downstairs, and the long pulse detector (just an AND gate with a repeater set to max delay on one side).
And while I didn't remove the short pulse detector, I switched out the TFF with the one from your solution and now the lever works fine. I don't know where to wire the pressure plates and the delay though.

Just to make sure though, I'm trying to make this staircase door:
EDIT: I'm not trying to hide the lever at all. :tongue.gif: Flip lever once, door downstairs opens; flip lever twice, staircase door opens.
0
Both doors opened by the same lever, but which door the lever opens is decided by how you flip the lever. Flip the lever once, door downstairs opens; flip lever twice, staircase door opens.
The staircase door. Flip lever twice to open.
The long pulse detector.
The T-flip-flop.
Normally it would switch states, cut power, and open the door. Here's the problem. The piston on the right is supposed to push the column of blocks and cut power, but somehow the left piston keeps pushing the blocks back. I have no idea where this power surge comes from, and this exact same setup works perfectly fine on my test map.
The wiring is pretty cramped, so I can't get clear pictures of everything. Here's the map if you want to take a look:

What'd I do wrong?

I'm looking for a gate that does nothing when the lever goes "click....click" but it will open a door when it goes "clickclick".

It's kinda big, and the output is...in the middle of the circuit? And what's the NOT gate do?

What else do you have installed? Which version of Optifine?
