So... anything new to talk about?
How about... what kind of new features would you like to see in Gen. 6?
no new pokemon except for a new regieons legendaries. i like pokemon but 600 is enough.
another feature, transfering over your gym badges from previous DS games, i'd like to have some kind of legacy besides my pokemon to brag about. actual stars on trainer cards returning, im glad the system is still here but its meaningless without the stars since nobody probobly remembers what rank is what color. also not sure if battle frontier badges are still around like in emerald but if they arnt bring them back, they are the ultimate bragging rights since its all strategy based
Well, it's VERY hard to code so that it transfers memory into one game... Just think, sure they got Red to come back in gen 2, but that character had a different name, and he doesn't have the exact same pokemon you had if you played R/G/Y.
your taking what i said way too literaly. all im talking about is doing what was done in silver and gold. bring back the previous playable characters with their own team and have them in the story. noware did i say anything at all about transfering data over from the previous game
new question: do you think we will ever get a pokemon game with 3 regieons or one that has a large plot taking place across multiple regieons involving our previous generation characters?
i think it would be a pretty awesome thing if we had to follow the plot from one regieon to the next and it would be possible on a console, or hell even on 3DS with 8 gigs of space it would be possible. i would love to see what happens to all of our characters after they encounter the legendary pokemon, i mean i think it was great that we got to see red in gen 2 but what about all the other characters we've played as in the past?
I'd love to see a 3D Pokemon game!
-It should be on Wii U if it's open world, and non-linear.
-the battle system could be replaced with the style from Pokemon: Battle Revolution.
-Also the tall grass could be somewhat player height, so that the vision is slightly obscured when looking for pokemon.
-Also maybe co-op, where your friend is the rival, and you can either play with them or a CPU that updates, with their Pokemon stat.
-This is just a list of ideas I came up with and some off the internet.
-Also though I haven't bought B and W 2 yet, the Pokemon world tournament would be a nice addition too.
Also, maybe implementing a system where you connect your 3DS/DS, and can fight your trainer from other games. This is my list, some of these I want, but the only problem with Wii U is that it's a console which you don't play as much as a system, but nice idea for a thread, I don't mind sprites as they are nostalgic, but they shouldn't have a loop animation, maybe it could depend on their health. Awesome thread!
theres a lot of things that could make a return or be added in a 3DS pokemon game,. walking around with sprites, some of the mini-games. but what are some of the things you want to see make a return or be added?
my personal list
1) a rotateable camera so we can walk around in 3D, NOT saying go with models just sprites in a 3D world.
2) bring back some mini-games and add more, i remember the arcade in diamond in pearl was a nice distraction but some more interesting games would be great, and heart gold and soul silver had a lot added in terms of mini-games
3) some kind of battle frontier or end game area. if we dont get multiple regieons in one game this i think is a neccesity, the battle frontier in emerald was great and the island in sinnoh was awesome for training.
16 bit, 32 bit. hell even 8 bit music. whats the method for creating bit music i mean there has to be one. some kind of program or programming that i could do in a SDK to make something?
Since I've accumulated more than 2 posts on this forum I'm legally required to tell you that you can build your own computer for much less than an inspiron of equal gaming performance.
but i need a laptop which is the problem, i dont think i would be able to build my own from scratch
You are going to need to get something with a dedicated GPU or an APU.
damn it. well at least i have my current graphics cards driver fully updated thanks to steam, gonna look around and see what other dell computers i could get... i feel my wallet leaking already
so my computers about 3 years old, almost 4 and im planning on buying a new one once a lot of next-gen gaming engines and stuff gets released (please be source 2!) and im kinda confused right now. i got an AMD graphics proccesor for my laptop when it came out, im planning on getting a new dell inspearon but since they cut back on a lot of customization the only graphics card i can get in my price range is an intel card.
my current graphics card is an ATI(also known as AMD) mobility radion HD 4330
the intel card would be an intel HD graphics 3000 or 4000 depending on what the standard is at the time.
so how much of a transition would it be? because i know intel cards are notorious for not being so good
with steams big picture mode coming out im trying to get my computer set up so i can play some of my games on my TV and the one big thing i keep coming back to (besides getting a long enough cable) is the controller. microsoft sells a version specifically listed as a PC controller and another as specifically xbox on their website.
so is there any differnce between the two or are they the same and both require the controller adapter?

still based off the game, and the megathread still shouldnt be here. hell there are so many topics there shouldnt even be a megathread

i mean i know it sounds like a stupid question since emerald is the final form but i almost never see people asking for emerald to be remade.
P.S why is the pokemon thread in the culture section? the only megathread that should be here is the anime which is BASED off of THE GAME
