I've installed the Nvidia drivers correctly.
When I log in to minecraft, it will go to a black screen. I'm running the game through Terminal.
java -Xmx1g -Xms1g -jar minecraft.jar
(start game) asdf
(login) Exception in thread "Thread-3" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /home/kaleb/.minecraft/bin/natives/liblwjgl.so: /home/kaleb/.minecraft/bin/natives/liblwjgl.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32 (Possible cause: architecture word width mismatch)

I believe I have installed java wrong or jI'm ust not running minecraft correctly.
If someone could tell me whats wrong, it would be much appreciated!
(ask me for more info if needed)
Jun 13, 2013I would guess that the texture pack is in the wrong format (since they changed it in, I think, 1.5?). Are you using an older texture or a freshly downloaded one?Posted in: Java Edition Support
Other than that, I'm clueless.
Jun 13, 2013skittle1998 posted a message on Nether portals not lighting, misc. block update problemsI can't say that I know anything about Minecraft Forge because I personally don't use it. But based on that list of mods you have installed, I'd think that one of the mods is conflicting with another (possibly more than one). When I had two mods that modified the same class, they battled it out for who could control it (camera studio and better sprinting). You should try doing 'trial and error' to find out which mod is conflicting with another. Remove the ones that you use less often first as they are more likely to conflict with anything.Posted in: Java Edition Support
Hope this helps!
Jun 13, 2013skittle1998 posted a message on Minecraft graphical glitch help (lines around player head and tools)I've got the same problem. White lines appear around everything except blocks (ex: torches, swords, characters, etc). I think the lines get thicker and more apparent as you increase your antialiasing. I turned my antialiasing setting down and they seemed to nearly disappear.Posted in: Java Edition Support
Jun 9, 2013skittle1998 posted a message on Minecraft Multithread / Multicore CPU Support (Will Lead to Huge FPS Boosts)I fully support this.Posted in: Suggestions
I have 6 cores and only 1 being used is kind of pointless.
Multiple cores working at the same time would increase my fps by hundreds!
Mar 15, 2013I've got a problem, not necessarily a bug.Posted in: Java Edition Support
Before this update (1.5), my Minecraft would run at 60 fps (vsync) and rarely budge.
Now, my Minecraft will run from 35 to 53 fps and jump all over the place.
Tried installing Optifine but doesn't help that much.
Re installed Java (64 bit) and tried launching minecraft.jar with 4gb of virtual memory (java -Xmx4G -Xms4g -jar minecraft.jar)
And yes, I tried turning all the settings down in Vanilla and Optifine.
Nothing seems to work...
Can someone point out some ideas or even tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Here are my specs if they help:
AMD Phenom II x6 1035T
EVGA GTX 560 ti (non-overclocked)
8gb Patriot DDR3 RAM
Thanks in advance,

hello, now im not sure if im posting in the right place but i think this may be a bug with 1.5. weird lines are appearing between the blocks. ive tried quite a few things to get rid of it, but none of them seem to work..
sorry for the image being so big :') but you can see the lines every where and its very annoying, just wondered if this a possible bug or if anyone knows how to fix this.
thanks in advance
This happened to me when I turn on anti-aliasing (something anti-).
If you're using Optifine, turn off the anti- option for it.
...go to your Nvidia control panel and select [Manage 3D Settings].
Click add then browse to where you installed Java and find/select [javaw.exe] (DON'T choose minecraft.exe, javaw.exe is what Minecraft uses to run!)
Find the anti-aliasing option(s) and turn it/them off.
Hope this helps!
Dec 2, 2012With OpenGL on, I got about 100 fps.Posted in: Survival Mode
With OpenGL off, I got about 140 fps.
It helps a little for me.
Smooth Lighting- on
Render Distance- Normal
Performance- Max FPS
I've got a Geforce GT 240 video card.
