I am still trying to get resource packs to work after over a month of frustration. Yes they are all in the proper folder AND format, i've tried with the patcher and without, both zip and folder methods. I've even completely removed minecraft from my computer and reinstalled only to still not have my resource packs show up in game. I have tried all the most popular and highly-rated resource packs and checked and double checked everything everyone has suggested, but still the onlyone that shows up in game is the default. HELP!!!!!!

yes, they all show up, both the .zip version and the folder version

yes, all the packs show up in options > resource packs, they just dont appear in the launcher screen...all that shows up is the default pack.

I have made sure it's in the right folder with the proper format. I've even tried it with several of the most popular 1.6.2 resource packs available..none of them are showing up in game. I have tried both the .zip and the folder versions in the resourcepacks folder, with patcher and without...i've tried complete reinstalls of the minecraft launcher as well. Could it be the launcher version itself? is anyone using a mac able to get the 1.6.2 to use downloaded resource packs?

I am having issues with dowloaded resource packs. Each of the downloads are 1.6.2 resource packs from this site. I have dragged and dropped them into the resource pack folder but the only one that shows up in game is the default even though all the zips are in the folder when i look through finder/library/application support/minecraft/resource packs. I have run the mcpatcher to try and fix this to no avail, even completely reinstalling minecraft with a new launcher. Nothing has worked and im at the end of my rope...and yes, i've made sure all the right files are in there according to the previous posts. I use the Mac OS and i made sure to have the latest versions of everything, what am i doing wrong?
