A lot of people felt that EE2 was rather cheater with the collectors and what not, but I rather liked the freedom from mining and destroying worlds(with thinks like turtles and quarries). Would you consider implementing a EE2 mode option to allow for the cheater collector type mechanic to be used in peoples games that would rather play in pseudo creative?

This is perhaps my favorite mod right under treecapitator.. mostly due to how obnoxious trees are to chop down these days... ohh the days of 5 logs on top of each other with leaves around them.

See now with that as a solution I would then like to point out the runaway save file size. But I do appreciate the response, it was not expected. I am a huge fan of this mod. I like it due to the amount of opportunities it presents.

I understand but the problem is that this basically puts the game in hardcore mode which is not enjoyable... 1 death and you lose everything but what you happen to be carrying at the time.

I love this mod it is crack for anyone that loves exploration... with that said due to the total random re-entry into the overworld from limbo once you die in a dimension don't expect to ever get back to your home base in the overworld you will never come back any closer than 30k blocks from spawn... this i think should be reduced to say 10k max... but I like to build stuff. I eventually found myself bringing dirt and things from overworld and intentionally killing myself so i can build my base in limbo because it is easier than attempting to get back in the overworlds base.

I don't know if I just have bad luck but after regrettably giving these guys 10 bucks 12 hours later I still have not been able to log onto this server. When according to them I should have been able to as soon as the donation was given.

Well it seems I was over reacting with this post.. They fitzed it :smile.gif:

Now because making a large boat/ship should be really expensive should consider making the furnaces cost 8 obsidian. and it costs 3 diamonds to make it run for 20mins. also sticking with the authors 32 block per furnace thing... but if you want a small boat say a 4x3x2 one it takes a sail...
    obsidian furnace
    :obsidian: :obsidian: :obsidian:

    sail

but also to extend the power of the furnace you gotta use the special bricks of life..

Imo, nothing should require daimond blocks.

you say that now. but diamond blocks can be found in single player with time, consider in survival, 30 people mining for the same reserve of resource,s its really not that unreasonable. im basing on my average of 5-10 diamond per day on my single player saves. its a limiting factor to make it very hard for a single player to get a giant boat working

Interesting I average around 30-40 diamonds a day... but I do cheat a little with Cartograph. overlay a normal map showing only diamonds(not 3-D) over one that shows everything(also not 3-D) and vuala a diamond finder. :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond:

My two-press button is functional, but takes up masses of space. I will begin to build my four-button lock, but I suspect it will go deep underground. My method for making a repeat-press button is to connect the button to an RS Nor latch, and connect the output from the button to a not gate and then to an and gate. The RS-nor powers the other end of the And. That means that the And will not be on until the button is pressed to turn on the RS Nor and it shuts down. That is then put into an RS-Nor to store it, and sent to another And, along with the signal from the button, and is sent to another RS-Nor latch to store the signal, so the button needs to come on again. If you can simplify that, please tell. This system can be repeated for any number of presses.

OK now make a synchronous button press pass system. (have to time the button presses with a clock in order for them to count. also if people would make some kinda video when explaining this stuff i would make the mental work in figuring out what your going on about much easier;). :SSSS:

If you use a normal 4 bit counter run off a clock then have a switch be a counter from the 1s to the 10s and have a switch when a 6 is in the 10s and a 1 signal is sent to the 1s to increase the 100s, and restart both 1s and 10s to 0. Rinse repeat for 100s,1000s, but insure that if a 2 is sent to the 1000s, and a 5 is sent to the 100s it is reset to 0001.
The binary to decimal decoder can be done with creative input selection into your displays. I would suggest using a hidden display to convert the binary to decimal(and to insure it is doing it properly. Though I am still working on the blueprint of my clock it will be automatic and will need 0 input from the user. (clocked rs flip-flops are awesome sauce).
Though I am technically using a clocked rs latch. And for the delay thing make 10x10 clocks that stack their outputs to the next ones input. this will multiply the delay. vs. just adding to it.
