For my Minecraft mod Blocks, Tools, Realms and Beyond, a new snapshot has released: 2021.4. It features some new blocks for the upcoming fantasy dimension Alexandroth. This snapshot brings a new brick type called "Frosty Bricks," drothium block variants, stone texture overhauls, quality of life improvements and bug fixes.
Frosty Bricks
Frosty bricks are a new brick type made from frosty dirt. They come in many decorative variants and can be made by smelting frosty dirt blocks. They were added for upcoming ruins and structures for the icelands. The decorative variants include chiseled, tiles and pillars as well as stairs, slabs and walls.
New Blocks
Drothium now has heavy doors, trapdoors, and bars like salagnite (formerly vibranium). Aleot hide now can be made into carpet, stairs and slabs. Highstone now has a cobbled variant like deep slate from 1.17 which can be made into stairs, slabs and walls. Finally, a carved brinemud brick variant was missing a wall variant, so that was added.
Stone Texture Changes
The frozen, basic and scorched stone textures are now stonier! The bricks now have clearer borders and the smooth/polished stone textures now have more detail but are still smooth. The pillars now are sharper with their borders and are more contrasting. Here is the comparison of the changed textures.
The old textures (2021.3)
The new textures (2021.4)
Quality of Life Improvements
This snapshot adds several quality of life improvements (QLI's). Some QLI's are listed here. Refer to the changelog for the full list of changes in this snapshot.
Raw highstone now has a smooth texture (more like a seamless polished texture).
Frostwood logs now have a brighter and less saturated bark texture.
Overworld basalt now has its texture improved to be based off the 1.17 deep slate texture.
Polished, tile and smooth prismarine now use the color palette of the prismarine bricks and have much brighter borders.
Nylium now grows roots much more slowly.
Viridescent and azuri blocks are flammable and less resistant to explosions to be less overpowered. They however burn very slowly, giving you plenty of time to put a fire out if they ignite.
The folium (viridescent and azuri leaves) now look like other leaves and are not solid anymore.
The alternate stone types of Alexandroth as well as aventurine and sodalite ore now generate less commonly.
Vibranium has been renamed to "Salagnite" to make it unique.
Bug Fixes
This snapshot fixes a total of 6 bugs (refer to the changelog).

In my mod BRTB/Alexandroth, I used blocks from it to create a sub-basement for my house in my creative world. I used the fences from viridescent wood to create a ceiling structure underneath my basement level. This room is dark and fully subterranean, but is lit by a couple vibranium torches so maintainence/repairs could be done to equipment if this was a real house. This space will be used for storage, emergency shelter and mechanical equipment for the house. This is where the heating, some electrical and plumbing equipment would be put if this was a real life house. Currently it is empty, but I plan to put a picture of some trunks/storage blocks, mechanical equipment and seating for a shelter down here.
For my Minecraft mod Blocks, Tools, Realms and Beyond, a new snapshot has released: 2021.3. It features a load of new blocks for the upcoming fantasy dimension Alexandroth. This is the first time I have announced a snapshot online other than my video showcases which I haven't done one in a while. This snapshot welcomes a new stone type called "Highstone" and a new wood type called "Frostwood."
Highstone
Highstone is a new layered rock type with ice in it's cracks. It will be the main stone type in the upcoming biome category called "The Icelands." It has several beautiful decorative variants including pillars, bricks, polished, tiles and chiseled which will be what ruins in a future snapshot will be made of. Here is what it and it's variants look like.
Frostwood
Unfortunately, there are no leaves/trees for frostwood, as it is a plank type which will come from several frosty tree types. Like with other wood types in the mod, it has its own barrel, bookshelf and other utility blocks as well as many decorative variants such as parquets, vertical planks or carved planks.
Here is a picture of it and its variants.
Turf
The mod also adds turf for its 4 nylium types. They do not decay and have the nylium texture on all 6 sides. I was inspired by the turf from Quark by Vazkii. Unlike turf from quark, the nylium turf can be made into carpets as well. Their recipes yield 16 carpets for 2 turf blocks instead of 3. Here is what the turf blocks look like:
Chiseled Quartz Patterns
For vanilla quartz, onyz (end quartz) and aventurine, fancy chiseled quartz patterns are now possible for floors/walls by checkering chiseled quartz blocks and bricks of your desired color. Here is some examples:
Aventurine
Onyx
Nether Quartz
Bug Fixes
This snapshot fixes 11 bugs including broken textures, item naming and more.

The total amount of colors per new texture is less than the ones of the old textures. I make most of the textures for my mods go better with new textures and I might make some that go better with programmer art.
This is several polls for you to choose decorative variants from categories. You must choose at least one option for each category below and at least 2 stone types to be added. SSW is short for Stairs, Slabs and Walls

Also, please tell me what stone types you want in game. Even reply me with your own stone type if not listed above. NOTE: All stone types will have the same variants and please reply unique features or more variants that I will consider adding to each stone type. I also plan to add voted variants to granite, diorite and andesite.
My attic is so big like you could have 2 stories in the attic. I have a steel roof from a mod as my survival base's roof. I used the space efficiently to make a trading hall as the first floor. Above the villager stalls, I have hidden storage and redstone lines to pistons for my security system during raids. In between both of those corridors, I have open high ceiling in the middle of the trading hall. At the other end of the attic is my bedroom and additional storage in my modded survival world. In the highest space above the ceiling of the trading hall is even more storage.
My new 1.15.2 dimension in my mod with lots of content is similar to the betweenlands in some ways. It has 8 types of stone instead of 5. It is called "Alexandroth, with alexandrite as the legendary end-game gear for the part of the mod).
Viridescent - Green based lively beautiful forests, plains, waters, plateaus and mountains.
Azuri - Similar to viridescent but blue in color and a little more creepy.
Brines - Equivalent of oceans, have brine mud at the bottom with variants similar to mud in the betweenlands. Pillars, tiles, bricks, smooth, etc.
Blue Deserts - a dark blue hot biome with wavy blue sand and sandstone. Has brownish dried cereus cacti.
8 Stone types:
Marlstone - The base stone of the dimension - equivalent of between stone in the betweenlands.
Pyroxenite - A dark blue-green stone found below Y-24 and has lava, used to make an upcoming fortress - The equivalent of pitstone in the betweenlands.
Aquastone - a light aqua-turquoise stone found in common clusters around the world - The equivalent of limestone in the betweenlands
Serpentine - A dark olive green stone found in viridescent biomes.
Linarite - A blue stone found in azuri biome. Both this one and the one above are the equivalents of cragrock in the betweenlands.
Black Opal - A rare, but strong stone found in smaller clusters used for beautiful decoration.
Adventurine - A renewable quartz-like green stone mined from ore or made from various parts of viridescent trees.
Sodalite - A blue renewable stone made from azuri tree parts.
7 different new Ores
Alexandrite - The legendary ore used along with boss drops to make the legendary gear of the dimension.
Vibranium - A vibrant purple metal used to make bars, powerful tools, and doors. Found in pyroxenite.
Drothium - A fictional desaturated dark teal metal used to make decorative framed glass, and strong armor.
Feldine - A magenta spinel-like gemstone used to make intermediate tools and armor.
Adventurine - A green quartz-like ore used to get adventurine crystals.
Sodalite - A blue decorative ore similar to adventurine.
Lignite - A common purple ore used for fuel, similar to coal.
