Orlando is not the safest place it would suck to be robbed and stranded.
Really? everyone keeps telling me its a fairly safe place, since it's a huge Tourist area... now of course that would make it a target, but I'd never particularly heard that it was a crime zone..
From what I read it's connected to Convention Center via some walkway.. tho it is a Hilton Resort, so they'll charge you extra for stuff you dont want/need...
at Minecon Paris last year, I just turned up with my ticket (with QR code) they scanned that and give me a wrist band, they never asked who I was or for me to prove it..
There has been a lot of talk about there being more strict rules this time around, but unless anyone has seen anything 'offical' from Mojang its all just rumor...
Haha!, a bunch of entrepreneurs trying to get their business rolling, college students walking across the stage to get that hard earned diploma and a bunch of Minecon attendees, some of which with costumes, all under one roof in one day... what could possibly go wrong? or what could possibly go right?
When I went to MCM Expo in London a few years ago, it was sharing the venue with some fashion and beauty show that was on at the same time (different hall) and seemed to of attracted a lot of Models (or at least very very expensively dressed young women).. it was very entertaining to see them coming out and face to face with guys cosplaying as video game characters or the like.
Last year's MCM Expo was just before the Olympics and at one end of the Excel was some VERY serious athelets training and on the Sunday morning there was a HUGE Religious service, it seemed a very Born again, Praise the Lord!, singing and dancing and worshiping sort of thing.. and the Anime/Comic Expo in the middle of it.Maybe we should start a 'not-included Orland Attractions' thread... but I noticed that Simpsons Attraction opened today at Universla Studios...
