I love synths. Anywhere from simple fl studio VST's to huge modular synths in one big patch. My personal favorite would be the Minimoog voyager, the moog pretty much jump started this whole "synth' thing. Anyways, what would be one of your favorite synths? Maybe you own one, maybe not. Maybe you even have that new OP-1, which was popularized by Swedish House Mafia's music video for "One".

sounds like he's using loops, if he is then he should stop and make the sounds all original by himself. If not though, then keep on going and practice a lot!

agreed CaptainGrainWave, in case you haven't read the story yet, you should. It makes the lyrics all that much more meaningful :D

Also, I really like that track by orbital :D

If you're in to chill stuff I would suggest some deep house stuff like this ;D

Just want to make this post to get your peoples opinions on this new track my deadmau5, based off Ray Bradbury's short story named "The Veldt". To me this is just the most beautiful track I've heard, what do you think?

I enjoy dubstep, but not as much as house or breakbeat music. The thing that's turning me further away from dubstep than I would be is the kids at school blasting skrillex through the dr.dre beats 24/7, as well as yelling **** like" bldddddddddddd drop da bass booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!" I can't stand that, not to be a hipster or anything, these are just my opinions.

My favorite house sub genres would have to be Progressive, tech, minimal and deep.

So, I produce music under the name of Frowzy, I mainly make house music, and occasionally other genres as well. I pretty much just want to know what you think, and I recommend you do not reply if your just going to dis the genres and complain, If you don't like this kind of music, then ignore it.

My 2 highest quality productions (IMO):

http://soundcloud.com/frowzy/calm-down (contains samples from the viral video "Greatest Freakout Ever")

    http://soundcloud.com/frowzy/flutter

I want to include tracks like these in an EP but I'm scared that the tracks differ too much from each other, can anyone argue this because I have a feeling that me thinking this might just be all in my head, mostly because I'm trying to keep a unique style, and I don't want to be switching my style all the time.

Also, do you think tracks like these could sell? I was planning for my first EP to be a "name your price" kind of thing, via band camp, so if you think my tracks are or aren't good enough to buy, that would be the buyers decision.

So, tell me what you think. :iapprove:

I was recently looking around the interwebs and found an article on apps that people would like for the PS Vita. This included youtube, hulu, a few others, and... PS Suite. As we all know PS Suite is where you would go to download games and apps for you xperia play, and of course what is on PS Suite that we all want on our Vita's as well is Minecraft. This is from a slightly outdated article from wikipedia:

PlayStation Suite is an upcoming software framework that will be used to provide downloadable PlayStation content for devices that meet the forthcoming PlayStation Certified requirements. Currently, this includes devices that both run Android 2.3 and meet specific unannounced hardware requirements, and Sony's PlayStation Vita. The framework will be cross-platform and cross-device, which Sony refers to as "hardware-neutral". (It is based on the Mono platform.) It is currently set to be released around April of 2012. It is expected to be released along side the upcoming Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the 2011 Xperia portfolio.

What this means is we will soon likely have access to the PS Suite via our PS Vita's, where Minecraft PE is waiting for us to download. There may be a slight chance of Suite NOT coming to Vita but it's very unlikely, so as far as I can tell, PS Suite and Minecraft ARE coming to the Vita.
