ok tested it damage works when i go in the circle but after like 10 sec in the circle,the damage doesnt work and slowness doesnt work,im gonna try it withould other mods except damage indicators oh and a sugestion,make it slowness 4 not slowness 2 and make them activate skills quicker
edit:it worked withould other mods except damage indicators and the mod itself,i suspect it also might be a save problem or something i tried it in another save and it works,gonna try it with my other mods in another save

^ this guy is a diehard fan of the mod, you can tell by how many times he has posted in the thread. XD
1:um first one was when i was fighting the light witch and when it rained arrows,it crashed
2:i was putting a piston beside a active lever (a sticky one)
the second one has to do with NEI. the crash report shows "codechicken.nei" if the error is in fact caused by hoopa, much more thorough tests must be done to find the source of the bug.
ProTip: encase crash reports in spoiler tags for shorten the look of the post and make the post look cleaner.

I get this extreme chunk error and I tried pressing f3+a but it doesn't reload it for some reason. I am to see through so many chunks and I can view caves and dungeons and I don't want this showing up. I believe it may be xray, not sure though. As a mod maker who uses forge all the time, i can say that is an error i have never seen. And im guessing it rarely happens. So my guess would be optifine, with specific conditions met.

I've been seeing a few chickens aside from ender chickens in my journey to find pigs, cows and non-homicidal chickens, though they seem really uncommon. So far it's been one coal chicken, a giant chicken and a beefy chicken (totally adorable btw), which sadly don't drop leather when slain like their cow cousins do. But usually the forests and plains are totally empty except for the malicious clucking and purple particles of the ender army poofing around. It seems like whenever an ender chicken spawns it takes up the "spawn slot" where a whole herd of animals would normally spawn. Aggressive mobs from thaumcraft and vanilla minecraft both seem to be spawning fine.
I've been avoiding killing them, but do you think killing them would allow other creatures to spawn?
Look at the config files, "config/MoChickens/DefaultChickens" and look at the EnderChickenConfig file. There will br a section about spawning, i need to know the spawn probability, min spawn num, and max spawn num. Due to my computer being out currently, the best I can really do is see if the issue is in the configs and at least give a manual fix.
A problem with the generation of the config folders: it's using backslashes instead of slashes. On windows that probably works just fine, on everything else, though, it ends up creating two folders in the root minecraft folder with the names "config\MoChickens" and "config\MoChickens\DefaultChickens". This is obviously unintended.
Correct it was unintended. When i have my computer back and working in a few weeks i will get it fixed.
There should not be any spawning problems with the mod. But so i can look into it more, what version are you using and what other mods do you have installed? And also no, you have to keep the mod as a jar, otherwise it will not work
Everyone needs to stop asking when he is going to release the update. Hoop works on the mod in his free time, which he doesnt always have, plus with his 2 other mods that he actively manages. He will release the update when he feels it is ready for release. Now stop asking!
How did you manage to disable it???? I tried and could no longer load my world... Tried 3 times... Thank god for backups!
I would like to suggest one more option for the above vote!!!! Please ignore those other options and fix the spawning issues.. the crazy spawning is making a lot of errors appear from lagg to tick errors from unresponsive mobs ....... Stupendous mod otherwise!!!!!!

- Will there be an option to rename chickens? I mean, if I decide I want a chicken to drop copper ingots (for example), wouldn't it be nice if I could actually call that a copper chicken?

As long as you follow everything listed in the OP. But i wouldnt suggest using the most recent version until i get a bug fix version out.
