More developers =/= better game.
It is a specific decision Notch made not to hire a ton of people. There is a huge difference between writing code with a friend and writing code as part of a company. I have done both. And if the project is of a scope that allows it, writing code with a friend is much better. You have a much easier time building a unified vision of what you are doing, understanding how all of the code works. In a large group, everyone has blinders one, focused on their little corner of the code. You ever hear of the phrase "too many cooks spoil the soup"? It holds for program's too. A company with many people is what you need to produce a AAA game with 10 square milesof hand-crafted terrain, a thousand NPCs with their own subplots, 10 million different models to flesh out the world. That is not what minecraft is. It is not what minecraft should be. It is a large part of the practical difference between an indie game and a industry game. Minecraft is not a game that should be built by throwing manpower at it.
And that 48 hour game? That was his weekend. Any development done on weekends is above and beyond. Unless you think Notch is a robotwho can work 24/7 without pause?
Pretty sure if you watch any of the "Making of's" by Bethesda you would see that they go insanely beyond the bill to put out wonderful games.
And to the big company thing, I am not saying every body gets to put there spices in notchs gumbo soup. I am saying he needs to at least hire a work-horse to do his bidding while he is messing around (Wedding not included).
You guys need to get off of Notch's nuts. If anyone criticizes Notch or Mojang in the slightest, oh dear lord here comes the wahh-mbulance. "Oh no don't insult poor little indie Notch hes just a small guy developing games while working 4 jobs and he does'nt deserve criticism". Grow up. Oh, and to all of you saying that they only got like two people working on it. Maybe Notch should hire some more people with all of the money hes made like a real company does so the game can be worked on while hes having his little fun with his 48 hour crappy game-making stream.

I get the "Minecraft has run out of memory error every 10-15min I have optifog/optimine installed and it does the same thing with or without the mod. All drivers are up to date and here are my specs:

All these mods and performance enhancing things tell me to delete this file then just drag the .class folders into the minecraft.jar but every time I do I just get a black screen.
My lags is fine when I first log in around 30-50fps but when I play for a bit longer its a weird delay lag like every second it feels like im being pulled backward, its very strange. Please help

I open the zip and its only one file fd.class
I open up minecraft.jar with winrar, delete META-INF then drag the fd.class in with the other classes, and I get a black screen
