Trying to start a server with my brother. I downloaded the server soft ware and ran it and it says its done and good. So where do I find the IP that I use?
Ya know what. I'm always arguing with people on here how Notch is lazy and needs to hire more employees and that he needs to give back more to the game and people that made him rich as hell. But ya know, I just sat down and am listening to some music that's makin' me chill as ****.... and I realized.
It's a video game.

You guys who complain about Notch (myself included) may as well not even post. All people in these forums say is shut up Notch is the greatest hes poor little notch and jeb they cant do it all. You dont deserve anything shut up and wait.

On topic, I would have to wholeheartedly agree. It would probably do Notch some good to read this post.
Oh, and the results of the Poll is no doubt the result of posting in the dangerous territory that is the Minecraft forums. Where constructive criticism is shunned.
A horrible way to run a company is to drum up a bunch of loyal fans who love there game and post all sorts of personal things on twitter that makes you look lazy while the customers who bought the game are waiting for a patch. You can call them losers. But Notch should of known what he was getting himself into. When you are big and make games and are indie, expect a die hard cult-following. When you put on tap shoes be prepared to tap *****.
Notch made a good game. But I feel with the way he handles it is highly unprofessional.
Tell what: When you make a multi-million dollar game, you can hire people to develop it however you please. Personally, I would hate to have a "workhorse" to plug away at it. I would want to hire highly skilled people, and put those skills to use. Which means I would want to collaborate with them. Which means I would want someone I know I can work well with. Which means I would hire someone I know is an excellent coder and game designer, and who I have worked with before. That way, our combined skill can help move the game along.
Wait a minute, that is exactly what Notch did. Hmmm. Maybe he actually has a reason for choosing the employees he has?
Well now you are going back on you're whole soup speech about everyone wanting to put there idea in it. I said its all Notch's ideas but just put in by someone else (skilled in coding of course) while Notch is busy playing Portal 2.
