MineCon has nothing to do with game development. It's just a chance for Minecraft nerds to all stand around in an overcrowded building and buy overpriced Minecraft merchandise. Kind of like Comicon except with Minecraft instead of comics and the girls don't wear skimpy outfits because they're all like 9 and with their parents.

I dont think you understand the picture. Yes, MineCon. Woohoo, sweaty nerd hypu. But the picture is of new blocks and buildings in the End and was leaked by Jeb. That is why developement is confirmed still to be on going. Really though, when did it ever stop?

They have been planning out 1.9 right after if not before they were bought out by Microsoft. I figure they have been working on legal issues rather than 1.9 for a while. Just be patient.

Try testing bios settings, tried uninstalling anything AMD, tried with other graphics card, no card, and the new card. Everything that had anything to do with the new card gave a black screen and never booted. I believe it is a dud. Correct me if I am wrong. I will be returning it tomorrow. Still keeping the psu though :P

Also realize that this tends to happen, I just don't want to send it in and waste my time when I could be tinkering.

Got a new psu and I still get a black screen. I am guessing defective card? Anyone want to run me through the process? I have it hooked in right. The cards fans are moving, the psu is running, no red lights or sounds.

So, it looks like the 650 isn't doing it. It turns the card on but it doesn't have enough power to display anything. However, I have saved an extra 200$ on a trip I just took so I will buy some cheap 750 Corsair PSU. And let you guys know what's up :)

Also my friend started yelling at me because I got the 280x for under $200 when he got his 270 2x for $600. So thanks for the steal ;D

A good 550W would run it fine. Your 650W will be fine.

    Alright thanks

Oh, wait, the one that Robo posted.

It says the wattage requirement at 750W, and I have 650W. But I see people online saying that it actually runs a lot lower and that 650W is enough. Is this correct?

Yup, if you go here https://pcpartpicker.com/parts/video-card/ and find the one you want, it shows you where you can get it cheapest. PCPP really is a godsend.

Never seen this website, but yeah, seems like it! Also, I wish I could handle Robo's but it is a little over what wattage I can handle. 750 compared to 650. But that price though. Oh baby.

R9 270x would probably be your best, still enough to run most games on high settings, i can easily run GTA V on High Settings, could go higher but my CPU holds me back.

I was looking at it yesterday as well as a lot more AMD stuff. They are a lot better, just take more power. And since I can handle the power then why not? I found an overclocked one on newegg for like $145. Thanks for the help, this is probably what I will get :D

Actually, the one I found is the same as the one in your post Mallowpuffs haha

If you can get a little extra money, this is a really good card. Much better then the ones you posted.

Eh, $20 dollars may push it a bit, but I will see what I can do, thanks though :D

    What's your PSU?

Anyhow, I can't even recommend an Nvidia GPU at this price-point. They really don't even compare to AMD.

Lol really? How are they compared to AMD Prices? If they are a lot cheaper than Nvidia then I can reconcider AMD. I can deal CCC. Also, it is a Corasir HX 650. Total power in wattage is 650 (Who wudda thunk).

So, I currently have a really poopy, yet still decent, graphics card. But it is old as butt. I currently have 150$ and I thought, "Hey, why not?"

    Below are my specs:

    Windows 7

    Intel(r) Core(TM) i7-3770 @ 3.40GHz

    64-bit

    AMD Radeon HD 6670

If you need more info just holler.

As for the graphics cards I have been looking at, these are the ones I have seen most favourable. Also, on a side not, I am really looking to go to Nvidia, I don't typically enjoy AMD. CCC is disgusting.

So these three. Again, budget at $150. I am not looking for anything fancy, just a decent upgrade from my other card. If anyone finds anything better, please let me know :D

I listen to Battle music form videogames help me motivate to make me win in PvP mini games. It gives that ambiance of thrilling fun, action, and anger.

But doesn't Minecraft music play randomly. It soothing and calm, which is perfect for the lonely player of a world. When wandering through plains, traveling deserts, climbing mountains, building a new fortress or house, or mining. Minecraft music is here to play for whatever your needs. Except when fighting mobs.

Well yes it does. But you might as well just listen to C418 albums.

As for the music, it helps a lot. I listen to music while doing homework though to keep stress off. If I need to think of something I just pause the music and go on Google for a bit typing in what comes to mind, then jump on in with music on.
