can you at least explain how all the power converter blocks are supposed to work, i dont have time to mess with every little bit of everything, i got all my crap set up to make EU and i need a quarry
Place down an EU consumer. Then place down an energy bridge next to the consumer. Then place down an MJ producer next to the energy bridge. Hook up your quarry to the producer
Sorry, I cannot dev anymore. My PC is being absolute crap and wont even launch the game anymore for testing. So until I can get a new PC (which most likely wont be for an extremely long time), I cannot continue any of the mods I maintain and own.
Try build #30, I removed that the use of IMachine entirely
BC Producers have also been fixed for whoever has been trying to use them, you must use a wooden kinesis pipe in order to connect to it
It should be 1 MJ -> 10 RF (minus some energy for conversion)
Test setup:
enderio energy bank (250.000 MJ) - BC consumer - energy bridge - RF producer - TE energy cell (empty)
The energy bridges is showing: in: 31 MJ/t out: 10 kRF/t (maxed out TE energy conduits)
It easily fills the 50mio RF energy cell (= 5 mio MJ)
(PC 1.6.4-23)
A conversion cost is a bit needless I think, as TE3 converts RF to MJ at no conversion cost. But yes, I agree it should keep with the ratio used by TE3 for the RF to MJ ratio.
A conversion cost was unintentional, it was due to how the configs were setup causing some precision loss between the two. This has been fixed in the latest build, And make sure to set the conversion ratio for TE to be 437.5 instead of the previous value.
I have updated the PowerConverters information to no longer say its dependent on the core. If you thought it was still dependent on the core, my apologies. Enjoy an independent version of PowerConverters.
Samrg472, thanks for the hosting, however I need the latest vesion for 1.6.2, because I'm playing Forestry with Extra Bees, but Binnie hasn't updated EB/ET to 1.6.4 yet.
Anybody got Samrg472's latest MFR+PCC for 1.6.2? Skyboy's is unfortunately stuck at crashing me whenever I enter the world due a rendering bug. I'm stupid and deleted the latest working Samrg version.
Not sure if to use your builds or skyboy's lol
I know both has slight issue in BOP using outdated API etc, also I'm having error with both of your builds. Seems like no MFR for me for a while XD
It seems that KuroNeko87 updated (with a provided link) in a previous build. You can try that then install my MFR version
This is amazing!!! I love the updates! I'll spread the word that MFR is back. By the way, are you planning on porting NetherOres as well? If that goes up then all I need are the TeamCoFH mods haha. Keep up the great work!! You are amazing
just posted in the original MFR thread about the BoP incompatibility - good to see that this is already being addressed. The crash happens because IFactoryPlantable is missing from MFR and BoP tries to access it via bopcrossintegration.class.
Looking through the build history i see that this has been worked on in build 65: Use IPlantable for determining how to plant instead of a registry
On a sidenote - i'd like to know if there is a chance for Pams Mods (WeeFlowers, MobDropCrops, ...) plants to be plantable / harvestable via the MFR machines ?
The mod author needs to implement IPlantable which is an interface offered by forge. An example implementation is offered by the "BlockFlower" class
I have moved all of PowerCrystals' mods I have updated to a separate organization. If you have created an issue, it will have to be recreated due to this migration.
The new spot for powercrystals updates can be found here: https://github.com/PowerCrystalsMods/
Now onto the other news, PowerConverters is being worked on, IC2 and BC2 consumers/producers were recently fixed, builds can be found on the jenkins, as located here: https://samrg474.ci.cloudbees.com/
I will be working towards a stable release of PowerConverters as I have released a stable version of MFR.

Heres the 1.6.2 builds of the latest source that I had (just so you don't get the bugs of previous builds)
I will also edit the previous post to have these 1.6.2 builds and 1.6.4 builds (just so people can reference them)

Due to popular demand, I will host the latest builds.

Do NOT come to me for support! My builds are no longer supported. They are only here in case you are having troubles with skyboy's version of MFR

Use skyboy's builds of MFR and PCC. I will keep on working on Power Converters (the core is no longer required in the latest power converters build)

No, I will no longer support 1.6.2. Older builds have 1.6.2 support but are not recommended.
It seems that KuroNeko87 updated (with a provided link) in a previous build. You can try that then install my MFR version

I plan on it soon. Might do it along side powerconverters or after I release a stable build of power converters.
