Re: Recent updates - Crash report

I have been using this mod and praising AmbientOcclusion for his dedication, always quick to update and replies to all our messages on the forum.

Well now I was updating to the last version #44 and Minecraft crashed. I backed to #43, same crash on MC 1.10.2.

I then went back to my previous version (and re-install) #31 and I can live with that.

I wonder if I am the only one having this problem, maybe because I am running MC on Linux?

Thanks for the quick update v15. (1.9.2)

Unbelievable that Mojang released this "catastrophic multiplayer bug" which made 1.9 servers incompatible. We have never seen anything like this before.

Thanks for this quick 1.9 update, excellent. Toggle F is not really needed but nice feature. - I have not noticed fall damage!

Want to thank you for this excellent mod Ambient. Also you spend a lot of time answering all the forum questions and discussion. Your install is really smart, I have not seen any mod with this effortless method.

In the early days of MC I used Zombe's, which is no longer supported.

I might ask if you have considered making a keybind for the fly UP/DOWN movement, I find the (standard) double-tab annoying, maybe it is because I started using it with other keys. Thanks in advance.

The latest MC version 1.8.3 is quite an improvement (since 1.8), many nasty bugs have been cleard.
I wonder if the Liteloader Dev. 1.8 will work with 1.8.3, or can we expect a Liteloader update?

I am running Linux Mint13 and upon running Mc from the Launcer I always get a Fatal error log, but application continues.

We would like to add a few good dedicated survival players / builders.

What kind of server is this?
We are a small group running a friendly survival (almost vanilla) server, looking for selected (max 10) new mature active players. New world 1.7.x added

    The rules:
No griefing. Do not break or modify any blocks placed by others.
PVP only with prior agreement, behave respectfully towards other players.
    No mods spams or hacks.
Use chat wisely, SSS - short sweet & simple.
    Have fun !

    Please send application with:

    Your age (over 15)?
    Country of residence?
Do you agree to follow the rules?
Are you active in playing Minecraft?
Something about yourself (what you like/dislike in MC)

This is a gray-list server which means that you can join the server with limited access.
You can take a tour of the area in a cart but need to register to get access

Also you can register in-game sending a /mail to the ops with name and age.

The server 192.227.132.120 is on Fragnet NY.

I was watching the initial battle when Anthony (Butler) was trying to kick them out one by one, banning the usernames.
They just re-logged with different IGN each time so it was a loosing battle. Anyways, Anthony gave up and quit.
Banning IP means you have to look at the server log which takes more time and there were at least 5 IP's at that time.

I agree with Papa, don't give them the satisfaction to continue this game or report it, just make the necessary changes so we can go back to our pieceful Ancaria.

Server was taken over by griefers/hackers yesterday.
Today I was killed by DarkMagician6

I have been running Bukkit servers for a few years, my suggestion to the admins to stop this, is either whitelist the sever, or semi-whitelist. Having an open server is just inviting griefers/hackers.
Semi-whitelist means that guests have restricted (building) rights until registered. Spawn area could be in a closed building or selectively protected by Worldguard or Residence plugin. Worldguard is already a plugin on this server so it should be easy.

Spawn looks awful, let's hope that the admins can use Coreprotect to rollback the damage.
I was creating a chest-shop yesterday at the mall, just before the grief, now the area has been protected so I can't do anything.
