The latest version as of this post is LWJGL 2.8.2. You're showing 2.4.2 there, which I believe has problems with Java 1.7 (aka, Java 7). You might also want to make sure Java 1.6 (Java 6) is installed on your system (both 32-bit and 64-bit).
I seem to have this issue where my Minecraft crashes on launch. I'm using the Technic pack along with several other mods (on version 1.0) and it launches and plays perfectly using the default launcher, however once I try and launch with MagicLauncher it crashes on the loading screen.

A couple of months back I booted up my PC (Windows 7), and about 5 minutes after the desktop was up it blue screened. It also tends to happen when watching YouTube videos at full screen. This began to happen allot, so I re-formatted my PC back to the original Vista it came with. This did not work at all...
I re-formatted back to Windows 7 since Vista was so ****, but I still got a blue screen of death. It seemed to happen not long after I changed the virtual memory to 1.5x my physical memory. I also have Windows 8 Developer Preview installed on this hard-drive that also blue screens.
When it blue screens, several different error messages may appear but the most often one is this:

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NO_PAGE_AREA"
I installed Ubuntu 11 on a different hard drive and I didn't run into any problems there, but I don't know weather that's because Ubuntu doesn't have blue screens or because it's a different hard-drive.
Before the actual blue screen, I tend to get an error:
"Desktop Windows Manager stopped working and was closed".
I also get errors from other software on my PC, for example Steam crashes allot and Xfire doesn't even start any more.
I did some research and it's either a problem with my RAM or my hard-drive, TBH I'm not sure what the problem is. I don't think it's my RAM because Ubuntu works on a separate hard-drive, so the hard-drive is my main culprit.
Is there a known way to fix my hard-drive without having to buy a new one and possibly loose my data? BTW, here's a link to my shitty PC:
You know what ruined Az's server forever? F3 and coordinates...
These days you know where you are thanks to coordinates, but that's no fun. Back in the old times you could get lost and had to rely on a compass. I hope F3 is removed in the future. :smile.gif:

I seem to be getting these weird purple lines around all the blocks in the game on this most recent version.
Anyone have any idea how to fix it? I've tried messing around with the graphics options etc.
I have a Nvidia Geforce 8600 GS and I'm running on 32bit.

I tried running a disk check, however it froze at 61% on the 3rd stage, so that highers my suspicion it's something to do with the hard drive.
Once I have firm evidence what it is causing the problem, I'll replace it. TBH, I'll hope to get a entirely new PC for Christmas. :biggrin.gif:
