Hello! My name's Rob and I run a small SMP server called Shuttlecraft. It has gone through a few iterations over the years, and we're currently just starting the 3rd one. The first was back in 2015, then 2020, and now here we are in mid-2022.
Shuttlecraft is a vanilla survival experience, albeit with a few minor tweaks. We usually focus on the building side of things and often end up establishing towns, and connecting them with nice railways. The previous server had an organic growth of towns and a satisfying Wikipedia page with a thick lore! As Minecraft has changed so much over the past few years, especially with generation, we thought it best to create a new world and get some new people in too. Everything is always built in survival which makes it all the more satisfying.

We are a small community-based server looking for new players to join!
Over the past few months we have established a friendly and active player base. There are multiple player-led towns/communities throughout the server, from the growing metropolis of NewTown to the quant village of Edale and the former spawn of Deanmark. These towns are currently connected by the ShuttleMetro.
We enjoy the roleplaying aspect of our server, and much of the server's lore is located on our Wiki!
There are no significant plugins on the server, the only ones of note allow you to create your own drawing on maps (ArtMap) and improve certain vanilla features, such as making minecarts significantly faster under certain conditions.
Here's what to expect:
- A grief-free experience with a friendly community and CoreProtect in-case anything does happen.
- Hard mode!
- Death Souls will save your inventory and 80% of your XP when you die. If you fall from a height, your soul will be where you fell from.
- The world border has a radius of 15,000 blocks.
- The server is hosted in the East Coast of the United States. The owner is from the UK, but most players are from the US.
- There's an active Discord community.
- You can create high-speed rails by placing a redstone block under a powered rail (4x faster). We use rails as a major form of transport throughout the server.
- Shuttlecraft is a small tight-knit community where you'll get to know everyone!
- We have a shopping district in the town of Trinsic. You can make your own currencies, but the major circulating currency is the Shuttlecoin. You can trade 1 diamond ore for 2 Shuttlecoin at the Bank of Shuttlecraft in Trinsic!
- NewTown is the most populous town and the current server spawn. It's run by a committee of three people: Morth, Wings and Invader.
- You can sit on stairs and slabs, as well as people's heads!
- Everything on the server is hand-made. There are no forms of teleportation or anything like Towny or McMMO. We do everything via vanilla methods and using our Discord and Wiki.

Hello! Names Snake! I've been playing since 1.7 (or something I dont remember) im not really good at building. But there is one build im particularly proud of which is a cool hobbit home. Im more of the pvp / survival/ roleplay kinda guy. I would love to explore the world and meet new people to explore with and build and pvp againts and all sorts of stuff, BUT im willing to do more. Im really into community stuff so this really attracted me. Im good friends with outright wings and morthrin and they reccomended me this server.
Im not good with Redstone. But whatever needs done or whoever needs help im always willing to help the best I can. Im always wanting to meet new people so if you wanna talk. Just hit me up on discord!

Tell us a bit about yourself (build/play style etc.): I love to build and I think it's safe to say that I'm really great at redstone since it's kind of been my main thing ever since I started playing Minecraft. I find gathering materials also to be quite entertaining I could go on mining for hours and hours! I like building with a sort of cottage-core vibe that's always been my building style but I do like to mix things up often. I also find myself to be very good at building farms, ever since I could remember playing Minecraft I would always love to watch redstone tutorials which has made me pretty talented at it!

MORTHRIN: First and foremost, I am a builder. I don't admit to have the most advanced builds in the world, but I certainly do not have the worst. I've been playing since 2013, and, since then, I have experimented with several building styles, including medieval, semi-futuristic, dark/dungeon, and rustic. In general, I do not lean towards any specific style, as I enjoy the utilization of many styles depending on what I'm building. My redstone ability is competent, though I'm not terribly experienced. (I study computer science, however, so I do generally understand most of what I see.) I've played on small- and large-scale servers in the past, most with an economic emphasis of some sort, so I enjoy interacting with said economy and helping other players feel like their businesses matter. Trust me, if I've got something to build and you've got blocks for me, I've got money for you. Other MC player-related details can be discussed through PM (preferably on Discord) if you have the desire. Thanks for your consideration, and I hope to be able to join you soon.
OutrightWings: I largely enjoy building on a structural level. I'm getting better at and vastly enjoy terraforming, though I am rather noobish in comparison to seasoned terraformers. I co-build houses with Morthrin, often being responsible for large structural parts while he does the details and interiors. I, being also a fellow computer science student, love redstone and create and explore contraptions whenever I feel that I can. I enjoy playing efficiently while still making my base and area look good (no exposed redstone contraptions everywhere). While not a huge economic driver, I am always on the look out for ways to help other people in any capacity possibe

I'm mostly wanting to get out of my comfort zone with Minecraft and make friends because treating multiplayer as 'singleplayer with chat' is getting boring.
