Yeah I feel like PingVPing has no depth at all, people even resort to jitter-clicking (Which can really f*** up your hand so don't do it!), a guy with 10ms can be seen as hitting someone 8 blocks away on the screen of some poor 200ms guy. I would definitely be in favor of 2 main things that would change pvp forever. Knockback system being fixed (It's so broken, a ping zone 1 guy can hit a ping zone 3 guy 1.5 blocks annd if the ping zone 3 guy hits the ping zone 1 guy he goes half a block, has been confirmed by several people I know of. I also want more movement like strafe running (Maybe not if ing is a huge advantage in this), parrying, dodging and other stuff that will make pvp a rock paper scissors style combat game.

-west coast server with constant pvp action such as kit pvp, sg ect.
-NO P2W.
-Active staff preventing hackers
-Must be within the Pacific Timezone
-Minigames preferred
-500+ playerbase at low point

Like gamer and princess said, I would definitely recommend the Soulfire community as a viable option. We have a parkour, mini-games (in development, command block based and no stupid p2w advantages), free realm creative with staff that would love to roll back any grief that happens and a non pvp towny survival world. We also have a resource world that resets monthly so you can mine resources there. To me, a server is more than a business used to abuse an 8 year old's parent's paypal, abusive staff and griefers everywhere. That's the exact reason I joined the soulfire network. The staff team is dedicated to making the server a great place for anybody and the community is small but very close knit. Mod and builder do not come free, you have to pass an application but if you are dedicated I'm sure that we could use another member on our staff team <3

Best part about this server is that it's not plagued by Pay to Win marketting schemes like the majority of servers out there and our community is really friendly!

Maybe the legality issue would be plagiarism if he is using someone else's work and updating it. Even then I'm not sure if it would be illegal if he credited the author. Another way it could be illegal is if it violates something in Spigot's TOS. Other than that have no ideas.

Also I'm probably not going to overclock since it shortens the lifespan and as long as it runs at a good framer ate I really don't see a need.
