not that I think its a bad idea, but why dont you build something new and unique? Id much rather see something new and unseen than a replica of something else. Just my opinion though. If you want to build it you should def build it.

Those chunks were removed by the gods of minecraft and can only be fixed by conquering the 4 lands of minecraftia. You will need to stop the evil lord Darketh and his minions to resolve the unholy lands surrounding the hidden chunk. Then and only then will the missing lands be returned.

posted a message on I want help with fake sites

let me see if I understand properly, you are upset that someone took your mod and posted it online on another website that you didn't approve? I understand that may be frustrating, but really if you didn't think this would happen you are only fooling yourself. Once you put something on the internet that is worth any value at all it will be copied and recopied a million times over. At the very least you should take it as a compliment because it means your work has some value.

Regarding "legal" action, good luck. Unless you want to spend a bunch of your own money, and I mean a bunch, there is nothing you can do, nothing at all.

Is it the same for everyone? If two people both make 1000 posts do they both get the same title? Or is there a monkey with a type writer somewhere producing these when someone gets to a new forum level?

posted a message on Why do people like shaders?

Shaders are amazing, the right shaders can make a huge difference in how the game looks. Sonic Ether's I remember were really good, but there were a few others too. There are also a lot of really bad shaders, and if you don't know what your doing you can install them incorrectly and get bad looking results as well. Also if you don't have a good computer it will kill your frame rate. Not to mention they don't work nice with a lot of plugins and if you have incompatible hardware or software it can also cause odd issues. But, when you get a good one running and running well, it can be a good way to improve the graphics.

But your right in a lot of your points, it can make seeing at night much more difficult. However, some shaders don't have this issue, it's really just a matter of finding the right one. Even though I would prefer to always play with a good looking shader I don't because I prefer butter smooth fps. I'll use shaders when I want to take screen shots of some of builds though, but yea, many people like the look of shaders.

stop and think for a couple of seconds, the fact that 1.8 is in the development section with this printed on the download page should give you a clue.
Warning: 1.8 version is buggy. Please use with caution and report any bugs you find.

No kidding! You didn't even read my post, you should take your own advice. I clearly stated that it was because it was because I was using 1.8, you idiot. I was asking the dev to please update 1.8 with the missing items. For gods sake, learn to read.

posted a message on Is it illegal to make Minecraft toys and sell them online?
okay just to be clear here, the blocky style of art your talking about is called voxels, making something with voxel style graphics is completely legal and not owned in anyway by microsoft and or minecraft. You can stack two blocks on top of each other and there is nothing anyone can do to you. However if you stacked two blocks and gave them the grass texture from minecraft you could get sued.

Basically you can design whatever you want with blocks(voxels) and as long as you don't use the same textures from minecraft you are okay. There may be, however, copyright on the some of the individual structures and mobs. For instance, you cant make a purple creeper as stated above. You could however make a very similar design, call it a peeper and your safe.

Also you need to talk to a lawyer, if you don't you are only setting yourself up for disaster.

posted a message on WorldEdit For 1.8? Solutions?
    Hello fellow builders,

I am curious if anyone knows when or if WorldEdit will be available for 1.8? I found some tutorials that stated 1.8 compatible, yet none of them work. I read quite a bit of discussion about this, but it's mostly been from months ago and I'm uncertain if there has been some progress since. With that in mind, I see that WorldEditCUI has been updated which is great, but without WorldEdit I don't see the point?

Also, I realize that MC1.8 has the new fill/clone/etc commands that give me similar WE functionality, however this new system is very complicated and in practice nothing like WE and WECUI. I mean, sure, it's possible to use the commands but trying to calculate all the positions and what not is way more involved than simply clicking with the wand and typing some simple WE commands. Plus with WECUI you could actually see your selections and get a feeling for the action before committing to it. With the in game commands it's just trial and error, error, error :)

So yea, hopefully there is some kind of solution for simple minded folk such as myself. Any ideas on other mods or possible solutions for 1.8? MCEdit is a viable option, which I use, but I would like an actual in game solution since MCE isn't actually playing MC.

    Thanks!

The heck is a fav? I'm not sure what fav means, because I looked it up in the dictionary and it turns out it's not a word.

Are you seriously that dense? You really don't know what that means? Seriously??? Not even within the context of his sentence, and everyone's responses on the thread? Here let me help you out, fav is short for, *drum roll*, FAVORITE! I don't know what's worse, his improper word usage or your reading comprehension.

posted a message on MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod v4.1 - The Outdoor Update! (Updated: 9/1/2017)
Okay I love this mod and consider it a mandatory mod when playing. I usually play on 1.7.2 so everything works fine, however I am trying to upgrade to 1.8 and use this mod at the same time. I've got it installed and working properly, but when trying to place a regular table or couch (and possibly other items), I get the message that this item has not been added yet! Seriously, the couch and table are like 2 of the most important items in the whole mod, please I beg you update the mod with those items for 1.8 :)

So if there are let's say 5 enchant tables by each other, each one will show the same enchants if I put the same item in each? Like if I put my sword in table a, and then put the sword in table b, will both tables give me the same enchants? If not then I think the OP has a point that you could just build a bunch of tables and just go through them until you find a good enchant.
