    can you make it so that if we don't have the permissions part it makes it so by default all ops have permission for any command and non-ops don't? The reason I don't want to use the permissions thing is because I don't want to have to worry about giving permissions for specific commands just ops vs non-ops.

    How do I use the //regen command? Is it supposed to regenerate the selected chunks to how it was when the world first generated? I tried using it and it didn't do anything but it acknowledged it as a real command I just figured its a bug in this version of SPC but assuming it gets fixed, am I correct in my guess of what it does?

    Will we ever be able to set a spawn that is under a roof? so people don't spawn ontop of the building. I know essentials does this for bukkit I was just wondering if it is possible to do this in a vanilla server.

    I opened up a world I have with the ftb mods (direwolf20 pack because it is 1.4.6) because I corrupted the world so i used mcedit to delete the corrupted chunk (it worked) but it replaced a lot of modded blocks with other things like IC2 rubber tree leaves with netherbrick fence and trunks with netherwart and some modded flowers with rails and spiderweb. A lot of the mod items just showed up as that blue block in mcedit and weren't affected but the other things I listed showed up as the nether brick fence etc. in McEdit and actually turned into that in the game after I saved. luckily i created a backup but I need to delete that chunk if there is anyway someone either knows How I can delete that chunk without McEdit or add those blocks to McEdit I would really appreciate it...

    MCEdit doesn't currently support the extended block ID's from 256 and above (which is where most mod ID's are). Anything in that range may be replaced with blocks from under 256.
    If the ID's for a mod are kept below 256, they won't appear correctly in MCEdit (a bright pink cube, wrong texture etc depending on the texture pack in use), but they can be used, copied, etc and they won't be be replaced. This is why I keep all my worldgen ID's under 256 as it helps a little at the start of a map.

    Extended block ID support is planned for 0.1.7 so it's a case of us all just waiting until Codewarrior gets there. :)



    So I guess if someone could tell me how to get rid of a chunk (actually regenerate it would be better) that would be nice. (unless McEdit 0.1.7 is supposed to release soon)

    I few days ago I said I wanted to start making my own maps and asked some things and stuff and I was testing Voxel Sniper and I wanted to try and make some kind of really tall wide cave... thing I don't know what it is but could you guys look at the screenshots and tell me how "Natural" it looks? I used a brush that was size 5 to carve it out then the melt erode brush to smooth it out then I used a size zero brush to place glowstone everywhere (so that you could actually see.)
    It looks way to square I think...

    Wow I can't believe I never used voxel sniper befor this thing is awesome! I was using McEdit to make caves before and it was a pain. I think from now on I'm only going to use McEdit for things like floating gravel like water tipper said. I have a good idea for a dungeon that relies on that I hope mojang doesn't patch floating gravel/sand...

    I know there are already plenty of CTM authors out their but I wanted to try and my my own map. Any way I was just wondering if there is an alternative to MCedit? I just think it is to awkward to use. Maybe to addons or whatever you call them for SPC that could replace MCedit?

    I don't know what it is about this map but I REALLY like it. (It might be the fact that this was the first time I made it through the first 4 dungeons without dying.) But it is such a great map. I can't wait for the next 2.
