    I haven't played in a few months but if I recall correctly knocking the meat off will reset the cook timer. As far as what to do, I'm sure you've figured this out but try not to forget about your food or fire.

    I don't know why but I have found the "java edition" label that has been slapped under the game title a little irritating, so I spent a couple of hours making a new subtitle in paint.

    As far as I'm aware you're not supposed to find a crafting table. you punch a tree to get a stick, you put that stick in your inventory crafting grid to make a sharp stick, you take the sharp stick and hit stone to get a stone, you put the stone in your inventory crafting grid to get a sharp stone, you take the sharp stone and when you find surface iron ore you mine four ore chunks, smelt the iron ore chunks to get four iron nuggets (you get a brick oven by sun drying clay and crafting four brick half slabs and then putting those four half slabs in the inventory crafting grid), put the four iron nuggets into your inventory crafting grid to get a chisel, you go to a tree stump and hit it with the chisel to get a crafting table (be conscious of where the stump is). of course you're also going to have to survive throughout all of this.


    If you're still confused then just watch some let's plays on youtube or twitch of a recent btw version.

    I've also found something weird


    not sure if this is a bug or not but for some reason frost walker ice isn't melting



    as for the floating grass and the snow grass block that the enderman has, i've never encountered those myself but that doesn't mean they weren't already there.


    edit: it must be intended as it all melted after dawn


    edit: The context behind this comment is that I've not messed with with frost walker at all but I found a pair of boots with frost walker in a shipwreck while exploring this pre-release. I was under the assumption that frosted ice melted regardless.

    flowerchild isn't going to change the name because, from my understanding, it's a testament to his

    disapproval of the minecraft devs for how they've programmed minecraft. IIRC he started modding after they implemented wolves due to his belief that they could have spent that valuable time programming more useful features. the name is self explanatory.

    I'm not sure if it is just for me or if it will work for other people who have had the same problem, but I found a fix. I installed xray directly (for multimc it would be done using the method on comment #3088) instead of using forge (it probably isn't compatible yet). if you've had this problem and you're not using forge then I don't know what to tell you as I've only had the problem using forge. I hope this helps!

    Here's a beta version for 1.12


    This version works only for 1.12. I do not have the update ready yet for previous versions. That should be out in a week or two if things go as planned.


    Because I'm in the process of splitting up the XRay, Coordinates, and Fly mods, this is only the XRay mod. The other mods will come later.

    I know that is beta, so I set my expectations very low ;) but only "Fullbright" (L) works properly. "Xray" and "Cave finder" doesn't. When I press "X" or "C", I see reloading chunks, but after that I see all blocks again.
    When I press "J", I get GUI window, but it's empty.



    Similar here with the 51 beta on 1.12. X-Ray doesn't seem to do anything (although it does seem to enable fullbright which does work), the GUI is blank. I also get each of the controls doubled up in the controls config screen, so it's hard to know which is the correct one. Full bright does work, so that's something. :)
