So in the new launcher, it says that you can pass it command-line commands as "Minecraft <username> <password> <server-ip> and it will automatically log you in there as that username. I'm curious how to do this. I run on a Mac, by the way.
Anyone have a script of some sort that will take the server.log and make it into a readable file? I know I could do it by hand but was curious if anyone had a faster way.
I tried making my own texture pack, complete with a pack.txt, pack.png, and terrain.png. Zip it up, put it into the folder just fine. But no go. It didn't work; when I loaded single player it was the default graphics. And in the texture pack selector, it didn't show the text or the picture I had in the zip.
If it helps at all, I'm running downloaded on a Mac.

I'd attach it but it's saying "Board attachment quota has been reached."
