I mean, even on underground ones most time doesnt have ores. There are ones that do generate (like gold, redstone, lapis and diamond), but the others are just empty.
Remember that veins don't always spawn as solid veins. They'll often spawn as scattered clouds, and their density may be so low that digging into one of those wireframes might miss the ores completely.
Also, some ores are specific to certain kinds of stone and/or biomes, so even if there is a potential vein there, no ores might spawn at all.
Do you think you could make Geologica/COG play nice with ATG? For example, you spawn Quartz sand at a fixed height of 65, but with ATG deserts could be significantly higher than that and thus wouldn't have any quartz sand at all.
It appears that your blocks do not render properly in dynmap, they just appear black.
Other mod blocks (like EBXL), are rendering fine, so if you aren't too busy it would be nice if you could take a look and possibly fix it.
Also, there's not a whole not of gem ores in Geologica, just the garnet sand and vanilla ores.
It would be nice if you could provide some ores/veins for various gems and such.
EDIT: Oh, and another thing. Could you please try and make COG do your generation in an async manner? At the moment if I explore new areas too quickly the entire server locks up until COG is done.
I would be so happy if there was a way to scroll through the block seeker list.
At the moment it just ends up getting cut off at the top and bottom so I can't toggle those entries.

So for the extra drops, is it a % chance of occurring every time you break a stone block, and if so, do you still get the stone block as well, because if so, people are gonna make machines that break and place stone over and over to get infinite extra drops.
I can confirm that Underground Biomes sometimes does not generate its stone types.

Notice in the biomes that are covered in stone, some chunks are vanilla stone, other chunks are underground biome stone.
Its not vanilla stone biomes generating even though my config has them off, its entire chunks which simply refuse to generate fancy stone biomes at all.

Just tested and crowbar cannot break them.
IC2's drill can break them, but nothing drops, but the IC2 bronze pickaxe works fine.

Also blast resistance. I feel like the harder blocks are too weak. Even IC2 cables have more blast resistance than your hardest blocks.

Remember that veins don't always spawn as solid veins. They'll often spawn as scattered clouds, and their density may be so low that digging into one of those wireframes might miss the ores completely.
Also, some ores are specific to certain kinds of stone and/or biomes, so even if there is a potential vein there, no ores might spawn at all.

Other mod blocks (like EBXL), are rendering fine, so if you aren't too busy it would be nice if you could take a look and possibly fix it.
Also, there's not a whole not of gem ores in Geologica, just the garnet sand and vanilla ores.
It would be nice if you could provide some ores/veins for various gems and such.
EDIT: Oh, and another thing. Could you please try and make COG do your generation in an async manner? At the moment if I explore new areas too quickly the entire server locks up until COG is done.

If you look at a map of my server: http://mc.ccplz.net/map/
Notice in the biomes that are covered in stone, some chunks are vanilla stone, other chunks are underground biome stone.
Its not vanilla stone biomes generating even though my config has them off, its entire chunks which simply refuse to generate fancy stone biomes at all.
