Delete your old minecraft.exe or jar file if you are using that and redownload it from minecraft.net or use this link http://minecraft.net/download/Minecraft.jar?v=445

I would love to have this for my web based linux system, would remove a lot of the hassle I have currently with editing my config files through cmd lines and managing my backups :S.
All of the issues I've had with this particular problem happen because of the minetrack that has been laid down, it usually happens a couple minutes afterwards it has been laid, believe it has something to do with the mine track update made last week about the auto updating track, so I would advise not playing with it for now :S.
