    I put bedrock around the spawn platform, so when I have players that want to greif. I let them check out my end, where they can never leave. Unless they were lucky enough to have a bucket of lava. That's all I use it for.

    I would suggest finding people that you know in real life or have known for a long time that way you don't have issues with them greifing your world. I only have real friends help me with stuff, since others like to destroy things. But then again I have lots of people on my world at times but the ones that are not real friends can only use switches.

    Wolves may not count in the passive mobs since I have 23 or 24, and I have spawned about 15 chickens and still saw sheep walking about.

    Well I had let the lava flow one block below the bottom before I put the water, not sure if water can be right next to the lava but it does work being two blocks away. Here's a pic I took right now
