posted a message on Minecraft Crashes Exception Access Error
Note that 1.6 officially releases tomorrow and probably will be fixed. If you don't want to wait/ or if you are still having problems tomorrow read below.

So essentially this is how Minecraft works. On Minecraft.net's download page (I'm assuming this is where you got your Minecraft)you can download the launcher (a .exe or .zip file depending on your OS), run the launcher and it will download the current version. It would seem your launcher is downloading the snapshot or a broken minecraft.jar. Snapshots, pre-releases, and official updates can be manually installed if you have the correct minecraft.jar file. Said minecraft.jar files are found here in the news feed of Mojang's (developers of Minecraft). These can also be installed automatically with use of the Curse Client. The Nice thing about the Curse Client is that it allows you to downgrade your Minecraft to earlier versions. I would get the Curse Client. Launching the game through Curse alone might solve your problem, but if it does not, try downgrading to 1.5.1 (tomorrow it would be 1.5.2) (under Minecraft snapshots tab of Curse) you won't be able to play on servers on the current version but it may fix your problem. If you are still having problems post back here tomorrow.

I'm not sure about others, but in the Nvidia control panel there is a "Global Settings" tab, if you did a clean install with the new drivers, some settings could have got changed and that could be causing problems with Minecraft.

Turn off sticky keys off. If you hold control while dropping items, it will drop the whole stack. Sticky Keys is a Windows feature that simulates the holding of certain keys when you double-tap them. Turning this "feature" off will fix your problem.

Have you tried restarting you computer? You can try uninstalling your current drivers, and then give a fresh install. As a last resort you could confirm that advancedOpenGL is turned off, or manually turn it off. Go to the options text file and change advancedOpengl:true to false. To get to the options file open Run, and type appdata. From there go to Roaming then to .minecraft where you should be able to find the options file.

Weird, I also use that feature with Webroot and it doesn't delete my Minecraft folder. Does it delete the .minecraft in its normal path C:\Users\Kevin\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft ? Or is it when you try and give it a new path, because that might be your problem.

You wouldn't happen to be running on a snapshot version of Minecraft would you? This report makes it look like you are using version 1.6.1. Mojang has talked about updating to newer versions of LWJGL once 1.6 is officially released. If you are using a snapshot version, it is probably just a bug.
    Quote from Chaos_Empath

If you aren't using a snapshot try doing a force update. Open the launcher, go to options, do "Force Update", and launch Minecraft. If you still have problems you can try downgrading your LWJGL.

Version 2.4.2 can be found here you want to download the lwjgl-2.4.2.zip
This wiki page shows you how to install it.

posted a message on Anti-Aliasing with Shaders
I normally use x8 anti-aliasing when I play Minecraft. Recently, I decided to get shaders for Minecraft, got wonderful results... except it removed the anti-aliasing. I made sure I had x8 anti-aliasing in my Nvidia control panel, and it indeed was set to x8. I tried using OptiFine's anti-aliasing and that does not work either. Any suggestions, people of the forums?

It would help us if you could:
    1. Post a DxDiag
    2. Optionaly, run the Advanced Minecraft Error Test and post the results here (it is already in spoiler tags)

Does this also happen in singleplayer? To give us more information about what could be causing this problem, do the following:
    • Run the Advanced Minecraft Error Test and post it here (it is already placed into spoiler tags for you) I ran it myself just to give you an example, and to validate this is legitimate and safe, but if you wish you do not have to do this. To run the test, open the batch file, it will open up Minecraft, log in, and quit.

Are you going back and forth between playing Minecraft through Curse, and standard? Curse's auto-save feature could be the problem.

Is it really that hard to portforward? Hamachi is most likely the problem. I recommend:
    1. Trying a server that does not use Hamachi.
    2. If it is an absolute necessity to use Hamachi because the server host can't put 192.168.X.X into their URL, I think you need Hamachi, to log into a Hamachi server.
    3. Check this thread.
