The mod is amazing, but I'm going to have to agree with lje006... The voice acting was not very good, nor was the animation. It looks like a bit of time was spent on character actions but it could be better, and the background and environmental effects like lighting just aren't very good...
Not a very good animation, but I guess it does showcase the mod well enough.

Sep 30, 2014qwertysam posted a message on Looking at Minecraft Through the Oculus RiftYeah, even though this is still pretty awesome, and I especially can't wait for the consumer version of Oculus Rift to come out, and maybe Mojang might even decide to add VR support in the future, I still agree with Lar095070, this news is about one and a half years old...Posted in: News

I don't think Mojang intended for minecarts to get aROUND like this.

Xbox minecraft doesnt have /placeblock this was made using Stop Motion this means they paused the recording changed the area and than started the recording again
Yeah, I realized that after I wrote my comment, but still, that takes away some of the best effect with the mechanisms and timing and all. -

This is exactly like Hide and Go Gortume, but there's a key. Not very new or anything. I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying it's been done before, so I don't really see what the big deal is now.
okay, you program this minigame for minecraft then please. Since its so easy.
First of all, where do you think I said it was easy and that I could do it? Even though I could, I never said that. All I said was that it was done before and that I don't know why everyone is suddenly into it.
Also, by the way, this IS simple. Just requires a few command blocks and score boards. Start with a command block that teleports everyone inside the maze except for the seeker, and then after a certain time, teleport the seeker in with a sword, and then have him/her search for all of the hiders. If he's the only one remaining, have a command block teleport him back and add a point to him. If the players somehow manage to get to the end, or possibly kill the seeker than add one point to the hiders. Fairly simple.
P.S. It's not really programming with 5 command blocks and a maze, it's called map building.
So next time you quote me, don't tell me I said something that I didn't.

does this means u can build walls at big heights with a simple command? like input how high the blocks go? Or what does it mean in simpler terms?
Basically, it's a command that lets you place one block with a certain ID at specific coordinates.
- method is special and can have three values: replace, keep, destroy. "replace" will simply replace the current block, and throw an error message if nothing happened (occurs when the new block/data is identical to the old one). "keep" will only place the new block if the target space is empty, and "destroy" will first destroy the target block (and spawn resources) before placing the new block.
And dataTag is for stuff like placing items in chests. -
May 7, 2013qwertysam posted a message on Minecraft on the Oculus RiftSweet jesus. I only wish that the installation process was easier. It's kind of like the Raspberry PI, where as it was so interesting that I wanted one, but 1, it was still in development, meaning that it could become obsolete at any second, and 2, I wouldn't be using it very often.Posted in: News

Huh... it looks exactly like regular Minecraft except shaky, crooked, blurry, harder to actually use, and with a useless gimmick that everyone already got tired of a year ago slapped on
1.) It only looks shaky to us because his head is shaking, where as the screen isn't. When you sit still, it doesn't appear as if your head is shaking, but it actually shakes just as much as his. Also, when wearing the actual goggles, I'd assume that since it follows your head motions, it acts as if it isn't shaking.
Also, how is it blurry in any way? Try turning the video off of 240p.
2.) I might agree, It may be slightly harder to use, but I'd assume it's on a very small scale.
3.) What's the useless gimmick that everyone got tired of a year ago and slapped on? The fact that you can SEE your BODY? OMG! I'M LOOKING DOWN AND I CAN SEE MY BODY! GOD, HOW STUPID IS THAT? -

The Building World, I think, would fit better as a generation option, so you can choose if you want to start off in a house or not. But I think that would do better as a mod. Minecraft, to me, is all about creating impossible geometry and outstanding builds on my own, without any external help.

I've been searching and some friends and some websites pointed me towards Logitech Controllers. So I looked at their selection, looked at some reviews, and gave my personal opinion on them, and here's what I've deducted...
Logitech Gamepad F310
Their cheapest option. really so cheap that it isn't pleasant to hold for extended periods of time, and also the joysticks have a very large dead-zone.
Logitech Rumble Gamepad F510
The same as the F310, but with rubber grips and a soft-cased bottom so that it feels good to hold. Also with the added addition of dual vibration motors.
Logitech Wireless Gamepad F710
The same as the F510, but wireless,
So I have deducted that out of those three the F510 is my best choice, for I don't care for wireless features. It just adds to the price, adds to the complexity, adds to the weight, and adds charging time. All for what, so that you can sit a meter more away from your screen. Not a big deal for me.
Anyways, this is mostly what I was looking into due to the fact that it's decently priced (I think), and it's pretty much exactly what I'm looking for.
What am I asking? I'm simply asking if anybody has any better options before I decide what I want to buy.

Sorry, I must have not seen that because it's not highlighted for me. Well, this has certainly stumped me, I've never seen this before, sorry.

So the exact problem is the "Invalid session id" so, why does this happen? Because the authentication server is sending an unexpected packet, and that's why the error can vary from not being able to join realms, not being able to join servers, to not even being able to start the game.
What I suggest is logging out of all mojang accounts in browser and on the Minecraft launcher, and then log back in. If it still isn't working, try going onto https://mojang.com/ and changing your mojang password, then verifying it via e-mail, and then try logging off and back on again. Sometimes the sessions and authentication servers don't communicate back to the user in the desired way, and this is usually caused by some sort of antivirus or firewall messing with the packets.

He deleted his whole .minecraft, which includes all resourcepacks (I'm assuming).
I've never had this problem before, but a quick search brought me to a more official bug report.
https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-34749
If you look there, that has the log that is most likely the one you are getting, so that may help you further on this topic.

Try going into your .Minecraft and deleting (or moving) servers.dat from the folder. This could be corrupt, which may be what's causing the crash to occur (whenever it loads)

Edit: sorry, I think I misinterpreted that. Well, if you are using the default launcher, then it looks like it's having trouble downloading library files. Try disabling and firewalls or an to viruses and try it again.

Also, it would help with either screenshots or a print screen of what this looks like. Thanks!

I know if says best for developers because we can look for bugs and such, but I think that everything would still be fine for the average user.
