I enjoy most aspects of the game, but building redstone contraptions and is probably the most fun I have in late game. I also enjoying making data packs and playing around with custom plugins.
What is your ideal server
I've been playing on town/faction servers as of late and find myself looking for a community that isn't fragmented into smaller groups or pitted against each other. I like servers with friendly folks who like to chat while they play.
Changed most of the loot generation for the Better Structures plugin to fit the locations they generate at.
Custom Items has released a 1.20.1 build but it has a major issue with item and event handlers at the moment, basic recipes can be made to circumvent the need for datapack recipes, but I will hold off implementing it for now.
Mythic Mobs now has a working build out, and Excellent Enchants has released. McMMO has had the xp gain for most skill increased. Added invisible item frames that also allows glow effect on items for rank perks.
The Waystone Smp is a RPG server in 1.20.1, looking to enhance both the vanilla game, and add more progression to the end game. We try add more content for all playstyles, while trying our best to keep things balanced. Classes will be casual without the need to devote yourself to a single combat style. With items required for crafting or obtaining these items being from boss fights/exploration to mining/farming.
For now the focus is on one gamemode, with plans to expand to different server types after the smp is established. While I am able to do a lot of what is required to setup a server, after the last two weeks of work with 90+ hours spent searching and tweaking plugins, the task has become daunting for one person.
There are still quite a few things that need to be done before a full release, anyone interested in helping with development in the long term would be greatly appreciated. Helpers need not be full time but need to have experience with building/development/administration.

Custom Generation - Terrain, custom biomes, villages, reworked vanilla structures, and even more. (dungeons may be added in the future)
Mcmmo - Adds RPG leveling to mc. The base stats/abilities have been edited to provide a more unique experience.
Grief Prevention - Land claim plugin. Unlock more claim blocks with playtime and in-game money.
Chest Cleaner - Sorting plugin for both player inventories and chest. I have modified the sorting algorithms to be more efficient.
Big Doors - Allows the creation of multi-block gates/styles, similar to the [gate] sign plugins of old.
Pre-generated Map - The map has been pre-generated to the world border to help minimize lag caused by exploring new areas. (moving 5 times the normal elytra speed causes no drop in tps)
Player Particles - Allows players to have custom cosmetic particles with many unique patterns. (Some of these will be used for custom items/Ranks)

Death Chest - For now the chest will have a 30 minute timer, giving players ample time to retrieve their things, and keep items on the ground low to help with preformance.
Essentials - Commands all servers need like /sethome /spawn /tpa etc.
Economy - Players can open shops to sell/buy from others or sell items to the server.
Multiverse - allows for more than the 3 vanilla dimensions to be accessed by the players with more dimensions to expand the endgame. Plans to add a creative world and vanilla once the server gets a bit more established.
Datapacks - The server uses a custom datapack to add some other QoL changes and new features like regenerating campfires, endless cauldrons, ice machines, and craftable plushies.
Community Suggestions - Plugins requested by the player base will be considered.
*Custom items has yet to update, but items will be added when it does. Devs will have access to the 1.19.4 testing server.
If applying for staff/development you need to 18+, for builders 16+. The server will be open to all ages when released. Stop by the discord if you're interested in applying.
Ive run into the bug that stops spawning new structures after the initial generation, while exploring new chunks. I tried removing the data pack, relauching, and adding it back to no avail. Let know if there's any other information i can provide.

Medieval and fantasy style bases, but sometimes i just play it by ear and pull some inspiration from the area i settle.

I find vanilla game play to be more enjoyable with a community rather than playing alone, havoing an ecomomy to trade makes the gameplay more relaxing for me, and i also love to see the other builds and projects people create.

Yes, Ive played Minecraft since the beginning and have enjoyed the communities ive been apart of over the years, and ive even managed to make some irl friends because of it.

Im also a nerd who likes to play table top games, and a little live action every now and again. I also love fire flow arts and at the moment am working on my skill with the dragon staff, to try and spin at burning man in the near future.
As the tittle says I am starting a fresh world for survival, and hopefully have it up all day and night. Griefing/stealing is not allowed, the difficulty will be set on hard, and please dont act like an infant. I hope to keep this running as long as there are active players in the world.
