While looking in my chests and at my house I noticed that I have a lot of poisonous potatoes, as of right now they have no use except to give you poison so not many people eat them. That pretty much gives you two options: store them or throw them away. I suggest using them to make a poison potion, but not with a brewing stand.
To make a potion using a poisonous potato you will need a cauldron full of water, 5 poisonous potatoes, and three glass bottles. First you will need to right click to water in the cauldron with the potatoes and that will give you 5 clean, normal potatoes. Then you can right click on the water with the glass bottles, every time you click it will reduce the potion in the cauldron by 1/3.
Please tell me if you think the 5 poisonous potatoes should be enough, if you should get 3 potions, etc.

I listen to 80's music when I build, I don't know why. Mostly either Sweet Emotion, Walk This Way, or Dream On (aeromsmith). Or St.Elmo's Fire (John Parr). No idea why that helps me build but it does.
When I posted that, the daytime pictures were not added yet. Now that I can see it better, I agree it looks great, and I stand by my idea for a miner fortress.

I can't see very well, seeing as its dark in the pictures, but it looks like a nice spot. It might be cool to do like a miner's fortress within the cliff, with fortified walls around the area integrated into the mountains, and a semi large village in the lowlands, which you can transport villagers to using minecarts.

How would a player hold a fireball without it burning their hand and causing it damage? And please say the distance and specs of the throw, I'm assuming it would be like a snowball.

I have a qustion that I do not feel was covered in the EULA. There is a server that consideres itself a charity server. What you do is you donate money to the charity, and you receive points on your account for that server. You can then take those points and purchase in game items. So the money itself is not going to the server, but going to a charity. At the same time you are still getting in game items as a reward. The owner says its just extra thing for donating. The charity is a real world charity and is not a part of minecraft except via this server getting donations for it and then rewarding those who donate to that charity.
Will this be permitted to go on? Will this still be allowed? Does anyone know how this will work since the money is going to a charity, but the players who donate to said charity receive points to use on the servers website for items.
But according to the EULA (as I understand it), you will need to give non paying members a way to get those points.
