well we have been griefed once more... i say ban TNT for now. if there is a way perhaps we could run a check for everyone on the whitelist to be sure everyone is vouched for
no keep tnt unbanned you guys need to hide better and have trustworthy members
It was hidden well enough that the guy who didn't was either framing a BH or was clueless as to the base was owned by Lot(former BH) Me(BH) and Bunny(BH). They placed TNT in every room on the top "floor". There was so much TNT that the very distinguishable rooms were indistinguishable. We could not find Lot's bottom room or Bunny's Vault. TNT should be banned until stuff can no longer be duped. AFAIK a BH or two who have been into DM's base placed a large amount of TNT hidden in there to be blown up once PVP is in place. IIRC Persoon was one/the person in the DM base planting it.
This makes me very sad to here.... even with a very exclusive whitelist there are still people griefing.....I feel like I can't trust anybody anymore :sad.gif:
This server is too much work to remain on the whitelist. I played before you had the list and the faction names were different, got re added recently and now i'm off. Peace.

Well **** me this is embarrassing. I feel like I have failed you guys (the true members). When I made the server private I thought that anybody who wanted to grief would be to lazy to send in an application.... wait 2-16 hours...THEN grief. It really says something about the minecraft community in general. It sucks. Which is really sad to hear. I wanted to keep the server mostly open BECAUSE a lot of good people find out about the server for that reason. I can now see now that we have enough good people on the server! I will be resting the white list to some degree. Everyone that I know personally will remain on it. If I take you of for whatever reason It is not because I don't like you. All the players who are currently part of the whitelist please feel free to message me with any friends you wish to be let on the server. So that means if I accidentally take you off and you are an active member, message me telling me why you deserve to be on the whitelist or message another member who can vouch for you asking them to ask me.....yeah It has to be that complicated.

Also.... I hate to admit it. but I screwed up. I forgot to edit the backup program with the new map info... So it has not been backed up as I would have hoped. Hate me if you will, but there is no backup(It is all fixed now).
I am not sure if the server should be restarted....again.... so I am deciding to put a poll up about it.
thanks for add to whitelist again, and it got me thinking how are battles going to be planned? cause if its just us/them defending our respective headquarters then i can see that not working well when theres a imba in team size. would it be like every week this day at this time we meet at set location then set rules then whoever loses pays X amount of (insert mineral/supply name here) thing? cause doing that would allow to plan cool scenarios like boat sea battles, protect the vip, protect the block( redstone/obsidian) and other kind of things which could really spice up the server and having it at a certain time all the players can agree on would get us all together for probably the most important part of what this server is trying to do is make a great pvp server (when pvp is possible)

Those ideas sound pretty damn awesome =D. As of right now I do not have an official plan for what is to happen when pvp comes out. Events like that would be very fun. I think I will try to experiment with different ideas until I fund some fun ones and make those weekly or something like that. Feel free to try to organize something yourself If you have a good idea. =D

I am very sorry to hear the things that I am hearing. Mostly about what happened to you on the server. I wish there was something I could have done to prevent them from happening. About you leaving the server - I understand. It is party my fault for not being on/having enough admins. It is very difficult to moderate a minecraft server because even when you are on people can grief stuff that you aren't around to see until its to late. I will be completely honest most of the time I have a damn good excuse for not being on, but today it was because I just got Civilization V and I was engrossed in that (just like Notch lol). I want to look into ways to help protect peoples chests. I here there is a mod with locks that I want to look into, but until then I recommend you hide your chests(like under another chest with nothing valuable in :wink.gif: ). I hope you don't depart with too sour of feelings.

Ok ok I hear some ****ed up **** happened with somebody doing something and then somebody else saying " **** YOUUU!!!" then another person going "NO **** U!!!" then another.........well yeah it just goes on like that. I understand some of you are mad and some stuff got griefed but I want everyone to just sit back, take a deep breath, and relax. I am still working out everything but do not worry I will make the server all awesome for all of the days to come. Please stop posting things on this forum of that negative nature. If you want to talk about it further please PM me personally.

yes yes yes I know I am intensly sorry. I really wish it was up 24/7 but between problems with the code causing it to crash and other things it goes down from time to time.
