Hey guys i would suggest you guys getting Global7Hosting their Support is on 24/7 and i mean 24/7 <.< and they will fix your problem in about 5-10 minute but sometimes depends on your problem the longest i have to wait is half and hour that is the most and i have been with 5 Hosting companies and Global7Hosting is just simply the best out of those 5 so i suggest you people that want to host a Minecraft server to try this hosting company out they won't let you down
Bought a dedi a while back from these guys, been going good ever since. Great support, which is the only thing other than their services that someone can ask for. When you go with Global7Hosting, you're going for a great deal and well worth your buck. The prices are good for the hardware and support that you're getting, a lot better than some other companies in this business offer.
Amazing host. I left for like a couple days and immediately came right back. You guys have great support, friendly staff, and most of all, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING HOSTING. My server has been running for over 30 hours without a restart, and still minimal lag. If you want see how smooth, and lag free a server running on Global7Hosting is, feel free to test out mine. I am currently on the obsidian package and experience no lag with as many as 50+ players on at once. I recommend this host to anyone, and everyone. 5 stars: ★★★★★
Well what can i say about G7H, well to start off ive been with this company for a few months now and ive never had a problem they are always helpful and are there to assist you with whatever, whenever you need them.
All their staff are professionally minded and defiantly know what there talking about.
I cant really go into much detail right now because its late, so go check these guys out for your self trust me you wont be dissapointed.
10/10 from me
Thanks Majestic. Do let us know if you have any specific issues
Absolutely brilliant place, I would recommend to all those out there. These guys went above and beyond what their packages said to make sure my server was running perfectly. What I LOVE about this team is you can speak to them personally. You can literally sit there and tell them your problem (no matter how small) and they will get pronto onto fixing it. Whether you want the to setup a plugin, or configure some fancy database. They will do it right ASAP.
I swapped back here after leaving to try other hosts. Not sure what led me back, the nice staff, great specs or having the owner give me fantastic deals ... All I know is that my player-base and my wallet are much happier I did.
If you are currently on any of the following hosts, SWAP HERE NOW...
- Beastnode
- MinecraftLayer
- LimestoneNetworks
- RedstoneHost.
All these places were definitely not up to the immaculate standard that G7H works towards.
Summning up, G7H is by far the bets host out there. They will take care of you no matter what your needs. I am so pleased to finally be back with a company that actually cares about my server.
Thanks G7H,
K1NG
Cheers King; it means a lot to have your support and thanks for taking the time to make a review.
Global7hosting is the best I have ever used switching from orca host is a night and day differnce price and performance. I would never go back! Nick (theowner) is always online to help me with what ever i need. I am 95% sure that he doesnt sleep. Biocraft is my server and I get up to 175ppl the server doesnt even stress. I was so happy with the 32GB server that I bought a 16GB. For my hunger games server runs everything better then anything I have ever used. If you would like to see performace go to etheir of my servers and check out the no lag by typing /nl. ip mc.biocraftfac.com or mc.biocrafthg.com
Thanks King. We appreciate you taking the time to make a review - I'll have to check out your server some time as I loved playing hunger games at Hungercraft
I started using global7Hosting about 8 month ago and i have never had second though of switching to a different host again, they just meet all the requirements I was looking for on a host a very long time ago. Not only is my Game server with them but my webhost, Domain, and Teamspeak everything in Global7hoting this guys are truly the best and if you really want quality hosting with the best support then you would do the smart thing and pick global7hosting.
Nice to hear Holguin, and thanks for letting us all know
Very nice hostering company, I'd give them a 10/10, They are true to what they say and are always there to help, I have been around the block with hosting companies and none are as high quality as these guys!
I have had experiences with many different hosts such as Beastnode, RedStoneHost and MossyCobble but G7H is by far the best. I would most definitely recommend this host to anyone who asks as they are just simply great. I can host my 200 player minecraft server without hassle, lag, or any problems at all, also money is not a problem because their prices are A++. I can use LogBlock to protect my server with their FREE yes FREE MySQL database already set up for me to use. I rate this server a 10 out of 10! And certainly think many others should enjoy their great services for a great price!
Oh almost forgot.... A special thank you to Nick, for the best support in the world!
I have now been with Global7 for over a year, I cannot express how good this hosting provider is. Over the year I have had very little issues, reliable help, extremely little downtime and have built a friendship with the company. I love everything Global has to offer. Please consider this host if you are looking for a good place to start. If you have any further questions regarding their actual service feel free to email me at [email protected]
I need to turn on my server but the control panel is down I keep getting 504 Gateway Time-out error. My internet is working fine and other webpages including Global7Hosting.com loads perfectly. Please Help ASAP.
FINAL EDIT: They fixed it but 8 hours it took alot of my players haven't joined back.
Hey Hunt3r,
Firstly, we're awfully sorry that this downtime affected your server in such a bad way. The downtime was caused by the Steve webserver box (Ruby) going down after a network card failure - it was only after a full 15 minutes that we realised and contacted the datacentre. It then took a further hour for them to replace the hardware so that we could get on with hard resetting Steve and running all the checks for data loss (we were unsure if the network card was the only thing to fail).
Again, we apologise - whist this was unforseen downtime, we have still put in some strong words with the hardware providers who are probably the only ones that the blame can lie with. Beyond that there was not a lot that we could do. To stay updated, please follow @g7h_network or like our Facebook page. There's also a feed at the top of our website which shows our latest tweets and Facebook updates. We cannot use MCF to inform customers of downtime.
Hello and my name is Lane365. I have been hosting server's for little over a year and i have been with many different company's and these include: Admixhosting, Fragnet, Creeperhost and also Servercraft BUT Global7 hosting is the best support and the best services i have seen in my year of hosting I would recommend them to anyone
Thank you and also Thanks to Nick for all the help.
Whilst in the process of responding to Hunt3r, I forwarded your post to Icebox (Nick) who said "say 'no problem'"
Best Host I Have Ever Experienced! I have had my server from them for about a good 4 hours now and me and my brother play on it. NO lag, great control panel and prices are good with the discount
My situation, there I was waiting anxiously for my server to be setup and get the email confirming it and I waited for about 30 minutes yes it was long but I opened a ticket and told them how long I waited. Before I knew it I got a reply, I got a apology and a full refund and my server! it was only £1.90 a month but its the thought that counts
Only bad side is the plugin installation inst very friendly if you could make it easier because I can't even install essentials. ( I can't be asked to install some third party ftp client and then ask you for the ftp details)
P.S. I am not a noob I've owned 4 servers in the past (one of them from veeservers, big mistake they oversold big time) and I know how to setup permissions and other important plugins.
Summary,
* Great Host 5/5
* Great Support
* Sleek website and control panel
Thanks for reading my review/opinion on Global7Hosting (I had some time to kill so why not).

Yeh, we're bringing out a patch that changes the way Steve accesses the dev.bukkit.org repositories. It was actually something on their end that's changed the way data is stored on there so yeh, we had no prior warning and so couldn't patch immediately.
DetoxCraft.com's personal experience with Global7Hosting
Global 7 is legit. Nick (one of the owners) has been actively helping us specifically for the majority of two days answering whatever questions we had and has even been on our server to test stuff for us! Global 7 staff promptly responded to my original purchase ticket, and the other tickets I posted afterward and I was even allowed to test run the server/control panel before I paid the invoice. Global 7 is super accommodating and feels for their customers. Another side note, every Global 7 staff member I've talked to clearly knows what they're doing and can identify problems almost immediately. They helped us to recognize errors with our server before we even switched over to their host! This is just our personal experience, but I have heard nothing but good things about Global7Hosting and I would certainly recommend them as a host. Server experience with Global7Hosting As I said earlier, the staff has been 100% helpful and they're not stuck-up old guys. The two Global 7 staff members I've talked to directly are really chill, but on to the server:
BEFORE Switching (OLD HOST):
- Recognizable block lag
- 2-3 random crashes daily
- Extremely frequent lag
- Overloaded CPU
- Uninspired/uncaring staff
(among other problems)
AFTER Switching (Global7Hosting):
- Runs 100% smoothly
- Honestly 0 complaints
- Players INSTANTLY notice the difference
- Handles almost double the WorldEdit stress
Immediately after we switched to Global7 we noticed the difference. I am being 100% honest in saying that Global7 has turned DetoxCraft into a much more reputable server based on connection speed alone. With their plugin support, awesome staff, and VERY sleek Steve control panel, there is no doubt in my mind that my server is better off at Global7 than anywhere else!
PS: Check this stuff out too. http://gyazo.com/366...0cbeef0d510f144
Players on DetoxCraft excited about the lag fix and voicing their opinions unprovoked.
Server Specs:
We are currently running an Obsidian Server with 5 worlds, and an average player base of 50-60 with NO LAG. Block lag, drop lag, and chat lag are nonexistent and our pingers pick up absolutely no lag. The server has been 100% uptime and 0 crashes since we've switched two days ago. Check out Detoxcraft.com if you'd like to ask my playerbase about their feelings on Global7, I guarantee they support my review 100%.
Also: I am not being discounted, paid, nor do I have any incentive to do this review other than my pure respect for our new host and the service they have provided us thus far. Seriously, check them out.
Hi I just bought the Iron Package. It's an amazing program and i've experienced no lag what-so-ever! This really blew my mind of how well it turned out. I will definitly reconmend this to a friend.
Although i have experienced one problem, everytime i try to install a plugin i get this error, Error while downloading plugin: Plugin does not seem to have a release. I have double checked everytime to see what i did wrong, and i can't find out what i did. I'm positive i typed the name in right on the bottom. Please give feedback. I will very much appreciate it. Yeh, this is a problem for all our customers right now, and we're working on a fix that should roll out with the next Steve update this weekend. In short, the way that dev.bukkit.org structures their repositories (where all the plugin .jar files and such are stored) has changed and so now Steve can't pull the data it needs to install your plugin for you.
The other way of installing plugins is to simply drag n' drop them into the folder named 'plugins' via SFTP. If you need some help with that then PM me and I'll send you a tutorial on how to do it
If you have any more problems similar to this then just open a ticket under your billing account or hop on live support - we're much faster at replying to tickets than we are at making forum posts.
Also just out of a matter of interest (and also I haven't read the first post), are G7H servers hosted on Linux? Because I can't see how you could get such so speed out of a windows server. (I' ran windows 7 on my laptop, then I discovered fedora 16... Never looked back)
Yup, we are of course running Linux - Debian Squeeze to be exact. It's also that way that we have our Minecraft daemon set up and how it interacts with Steve that makes our services faster than some other Linux-based servers.
Hi, I'm interested in buying the Diamond plan with G7H and have one question:
Most other MC hosts have, on their 4GB plan, a recommended limit of 70-90 players. How can the diamond plan, with only 2,2GB of RAM, have a recommended limit of 100 players?
Hey Overday,
Yeh, I can see that it's a little mis-leading if read correctly. You'll see at the bottom of each package explaination that we test these RAM allowances with no plugins and now .jar executable modification (i.e. no Bukkit, it's simply vanilla Minecraft).
There are of course other things to factor in. Block usage, TNT explosion frequency and map size (biome refreshing can sap up a lot of RAM on large maps).
It's hard to say really. The numbers are simply a very, very rough guideline - if we were to give our most accurate estimate for the diamond package, then it would be anything between 20 and 100 players. It just depends entirely upon what you're doing with your server.
In short, never use a host's slot estimation figures as even a guideline for the amound of players you can expect to have on your server at one time.
Feel free to PM me if you need any more information
It would be very rare indeed for both the executable .jar and plugin .jars to amount to more than 1gb of SSD space and so you can safely assume that 90% of that given limitation may be used simply for world files.

Always happy to help, BoStaff
So long as it's not a problem with the control panel or network. That's when it gets real

Fedora is a good call if you want a nice GUI

Hey Frost,
There's a limitation on your total hosted file size (depending upon which package you go for):
Flower: 20gb
Iron: 40gb
Gold: 60gb
Diamond: 100gb
Obsidian: 140gb
It would be very rare indeed for both the executable .jar and plugin .jars to amount to more than 1gb of SSD space and so you can safely assume that 90% of that given limitation may be used simply for world files.
